This dump confirms to the modern traveler to beware of the information on the internet provided by the vendor. The dramatic photo of the facade of the hotel has nothing to do with the clutch of rooms buried in the bowels of this tenement. From the photos, one sees the reality of the "street presence." The corridor leading to the... More

We've spent in this hotel 6 nights. As we first arrived we've told the receptionist (who couldn't speak english) that the bathroom of our room stinked, she told us that the building was really old and so was normal that pipes stinked, we just had to let the water flow and it would be better. We have asked to move... More

This was allready the second time me and my wife stayed at this hotel. The hotel is small and cozy, the rooms are nice and tidy and the beds are comfortable. The position of the hotel is outstanding, close to Nevskiy Prospect but still a little on the side meaning that traffic does not disturb at all. The breakfast is... More

Back to Saint Petersburg! We've choosen this hotel bacause of good price, location and good-looking pictures at their web-site. It is really very close to Nevskiy prospekt and you could easily get whereever you need. The hotel is situated on 5th floor and in the same building with a Theatre! Brakfasts are not bad, rooms are clean with old-style windows... More

“Elegy hotel” is a quiet and very cozy hotel, located in the center of Saint-Petersburg. I’ve booked it for me and my friends from Finland. What I liked: Every day I was welcomed by friendly staff. “Elegy hotel” is the best value for money. Cost-saving accommodation in the CENTER of the city! Near the hotel - a lot of cafes,... More

For 4500 Rubles per night we were told we had a "Comfort" room which was supposed to include a fridge, it didn't and when my wife who is Russian asked housekeeping what a comfort room was they showed her a room that was twice the size all be it still did not have... The hotel itself is okay. Mostly clean, rooms a bit small. The shower is a bit leaky and may/may not have hot water. However, they do offer free breakfast and wifi and there is an elevator (If you are an American like myself, you are likely laughing at this, but in this part of the world these are considered amenities).... I rated this hotel very good because it is worth the price paid. They provided good services (hotel transfer and the tours) which made my trip to russia much better. The location is good as you pass by subway and mcdonalds on the way to the nevsky prospect, there's a supermarket nearby, and walk a bit, you get to the... More

Stayed at the Elegy St. Petersburg for one night . First of all it is not a 3 star although the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is on the 5th floor of a large building and to get to it you have to take an elevator. The elevator can only hold two average size people... More
