We spent a wonderfull time in this hotel and St. Petersburg in last summer. Rooms are clean, staff helpful (in Russian standard) and breakfast excellent. This is an amazing hotel. The location could be bit better but it is a longer walk away from the center, shich is ok. Rooms are large, beautifully decorated. This hotel is a great value with beautiful ammentities and helpful staff. The reason for the reasonable price is that it is a little out of the way; a long walk to the Winter Palace and Nevsky Prospect. The breakfast is excellent with a variety of Russian and American foods. I would definitely stay here again. more

Can't say Sokos Hotel is a bad one, but for roughly EUR 200/night I've seen (far) better value. Service at the Bridges Bar really doesn't worth 10 EUR/beer (to put it mildly...) AC in the room can't be turned off - which is the first time I've ever been in such a situation... Pick-up from the airport is roughly 45... more
