Azimut Amur Bay Hotel Vladivostok My wife and I chose this hotel because of it’s location and price. Stayed there for 3 nights before our trans-Siberian railway journey. It is in a perfect location to explore Vladivostok on foot. The building is typical for the old communist era, not much imagination in style. It is built into the side of... More

Why can't the security guy just help with bags? I am 66 for heavens sake and this guy just watched me struggle up and down endless staircases. Dreadful room that only the Russian management can achieve. They say it will improve but we woke up to workmen hammering on walks. This is a new low in people not caring. This... More

I read the reviews and after staying in a different hotel on my previous visit to Vladivostok I thought it really couldn't be that bad and gave it a chance however it really is bad - don't stay here and read the other reviews from other people too. There are 2 hotel entrances, neither of them really shows they are... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was ok. We ended up at the wrong hotel as they have 2 near each other. We booked a double room but were given a twin when we complained we were told there were none available but we could try the next day. The bathroom was dirty with piss on the seats.... More

As to the title, the bathroom was tiled and the tiles were coming off, allowing water to stand. As I entered, there were two cockroaches that ran away, which is what I wanted to do. I don't even want to think about the smell... The room is medium sized with a queen bed, desk and chair, refrigerator, and a 17"... More

Unrenovated rooms, 60s shower, hard beds and limited service. Sea views quite nice but get a high floor. 24 hour bar (the only place you can buy water) opens at 5pm. On site strip club 1,000+ ruble cover.

The hotel has a great location, only a 10-minute walk to the Vladivostok train station and a 5-minute walk to the Amur Bay harbourside walkway and the city centre. The staff were very helpful and some of them can speak good English (quite rare in these parts of Russia). However, the hotel rooms were quite old, and the toilets are... More

Taxi Driver ask us to get off near by Hotel, and he just indicated you may go-down this road, on top of hills. When we took Taxie at Air-Port, Driver said Okay go there by 1,500 Roubles. We arrived in Vladivostok on the Trans-Siberian. We had organized to stay at a homestay but were informed that the homestay was unavailable. So we were dropped off here. It was a nice surprise. The rooms are clean and tidy. The room we had was a economy room. So it was quite small an had the weirdest bathroom we have... More

Admittedly It was not in the best condition. But the staff were exellent. They were all young friendly and making the best out of what they had. The attatched Strip Bar was the best I have ever seen! I didn't expect it to be the Hilton. The food was very good. Remember. This is Vladivostok, the real Russia. Not Beverly... More
