Centrally located and said to be the oldest hotel in the city. The entance hall and the lobby are almost like a museum. The rooms are quite big but far from being extravagant. WiFi coverge is poor depending on the location of the room. Single rooms are a little dark. It is worth to book a double and pay the... More

About a 2-3 block walk from the Vladivostok train station and the Trans Siberian Railway. Also just a block from oceanfront. Hotel must have been quite grand in its day. It really needs a total makeover, but has great potential. Rooms are dark, and need serious inspiration. Internet is spotty, and complimentary breakfast was horrible. Rooms can be noisy, so... More

We kicked off our Trans Siberian Rail journey with our first introduction to a Russian hotel here. This is a charming 'old worldy' type feel. Walking distance to 'downtown Vladivostok. Handy to banks, shops and the railway station. There is an OK restaurant/bar across the street. Hotel has wifi. There are of course more modern hotels in Vladivostok but we... More

Hotel is ok but totally over priced. Normal old Russian standard. The location is very good , in the center of Vladivostok. A couple of good restaurants close to the hotel. If someone wants the experience of old traditional Russian(Sovjet) standard when it comes to service and standard it worth to stay there, but pricing is redicolous.

I used to travel a lot to outer cities in Russia couple of years ago and I knew that I should not expect much, so I was not negatively surprised. Actually receptionist at the lobby was kind enough that did not charge me for an extra night when I arrived to the hotel at 08:00 a.m. which was a positive... More

I stayed at this hotel two nights during my business trip to Vladivostok at the end of September 2012. Unfortunately there were a cinema festival in the city and the price for a standard room was twice higher compare to other days. It seemed I paid for a 5 star hotel price for a room, but received 3 star hotel... More

If you want to feel like you are back in the Russia of the 1990s, this the place for you: terrible food; bizarre service by almost everyone; time stuck somewhere around 1998. I have lived in Russia for many years, but this hotel is odd: restaurant was so terrible I never went back after a cold breakfast (this for 6000... More

If you are looking for some unique experience in Siberia, you might surely want to consider Versailles. Perhaps this could be the place if you want to experience something Russian - its style and architecture. It is located in the very good corner of the city centre with lots of dining options around. All receptionists I encountered during my 3... More

We stayed one night. The trip to the airport is long and difficult with road works. Double room was clean and spacious but breakfast was pretty basic and they were slow to resupply items which ran out. Quite expensive. Reception desk lacks charm and incredibly bureaucratic - we arrived tired and worn out at midnight but had difficulty checking in... More
