I had come across Zemchuzhina hotel by digging a bit deeper into TripAdvisor and especially Booking.com . It was mainly the location and the price/quality-ratio that made me pick this one. Looking back, it was not a bad choice at all. The reception, albeit Russian underchilled, was not even Siberian icy cold. The girl who held fort when I checked... More

I have stayed in this hotel three times this past year and found it to be comfortable, clean with a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are small, but nicely arranged. Beds are good for Russia. The location is really good...within a short distance of the train which gives you good access to the airport. Note, the airport express only runs during... More

Not all that great. Room small and staff unfriendly / severe with no English to speak off even though it is listed as having English speaking staff. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone if alternatives are available.

Not quite sure where to start with this one! OK - room: exceptionally average (and that's being kind) very small, hardly any room for bags, no safe and very stuffy. Sheets do not fit bed, windows at front do not open so the only way to air the room is to leave the front door open, which is a security... More

At the end of our Kamchatka tour, we stayed at this hotel for a night on 10th August, 2013. Having learnt the lesson from our stay in Raitex Hotel, we decided to go to Valdivostok to stay for one night ( around USD 50, a flat fee of Roubles 1500 for taxi ride from airport one way). We booked this... More

I spent three nights at the Zemchuzhina in June 2013. Clean rooms, a ten minute walk to train station, 15 to the marina area and 20 to the pedestrian mall, Prospect Okeanskiy. So, location-wise terrific. Rooms are satisfactory, clean, private bath, well-ventilated, flat screen TV with CNN in the evenings, hot and cold water on every floor, nice-size writing desk.... More

I read a lot of comments before choosing this hotel to stay in on a weekend trip to Vladivostok, and i had a very different experience to some other people. So the hotel is quite easy to find, around a 5-10 min walk from Vladivostok train station which has a train service to the airport which was handy (although it... More

We got a very good deal on this hotel through a booking website, 1925r/night for an economy twin. The receptionists were fine. Several spoke English, a few were especially helpful. The hotel is clean, the housekeepers were friendly. We got our first room (501), which had a crumbling entryway and exposed wires. I am not very particular so we stayed... More
