This is not a pleasant hotel but it provides a necessary service bridging the gap between arriving in Kamchatka and getting out into the pristine and stunning wilderness. The hotel has throw backs to the days before the wall collapsed with attendants on every floor, shaky lifts & stunning decor. On the plus side, the hotel restaurant provides adequate food and there's always plenty of "wildlife" to be watched coming & going. All joking apart, I think this probably is the best hotel in PKC & you'll forget it the second you get out of the city and into the real business of coming to Kamchatka - the incredible, pure and elemental nature. more
