The beds were comfortable, not enough room in the halls, kitchen was really small as was the living room. They had signs saying no sleeping on the couches and yet there were men sleeping on them nightly. Only two showers that did not drain properly and two sinks and the place was dirty and aged. It is up four flights... More

I was there with my friends for few days in July 2012. Hostel is close to the center and easy to find. Close to the subway and McDonalds. Corridors are terrible, smelly and old but the hostel/apartment itself is not that bad. Rooms were okay, comfy beds. other rooms as kitchen and bathroom were just okay. Staff weren't helpful back... As I travel around the world and stay in hostels I expect them to be the places where mostly travelers stay. In Moscow in hostel Napoleon it's different. People not able to pay rent for flats stay in hostels for weeks and months because it's cheaper so basically this hostel turned into homes for lots of people. So I checked... More

Very well located close to Red Square and many other attractions. Very friendly staff! Funny people all the time. Many options of restaurants and bars around. The bedroom was not very clean. The smell from the bathroom was not very good!

Had to share a room with about 6 other people and is was very hard to find. It was just along from the subway, but then up a street and then a right to a street where everyone must have been going to another hostel as it had a sign up saying it wasn't Napoleon. It was a few doors... More

Good hostel in moscow. The location it's good, near subway restaurants and bars. The staff it's simpatic mainly the blond girl in the reception. It's a quite small but it's enoogh for backpcakers. There is some stairs to access the hostel, so if you have problems with this choose another one.

Every time I went to Moscow I spent my nights in this hostel but the quality during the years is totally faded. My opionon was 5 "stars" the first time I was there in 2007. Zero "stars" last time in 2012. My first experience there was great, super friendly atmosphere, professional reception...Last time in 2012 the situation was above the... More

Only the location was very good. Very bad cleanning. Athmophere was very weired. Very very small place, no space for nothing. What a mess. Best russian hostel in 2007, today probably the worst hostel in Russia. One of the most strange hostel I´ve ever been. Fortunatlly in private room where we stayed, we could run way from reception (at the... More
