We just spent 3 nights at this hotel. Absolutely great. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. Ample toiletries in bathroom. Housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast buffet was included in our very fair room rate. Plenty of choices on breakfast buffet and very good service. We were too busy to enjoy the pool, but it looked very nice. No... more

I stayed at Peter 1 on a 4 day break in May 2009. The hotel was very efficient and the staff most helpful. The location is good being about 10 minutes walk from red square and 5 minutes from metro stations that are on main lines. Its close to the Bolshoi as well. The breakfast was particularly excellent with lots... more

Perhaps we just got a good rate but our experience with the Peter 1 in Moscow was very good. We heard that Moscow was expensive so we were worried when we booked the hotel but was pleasantly surprised. Nice service, gym, pool, breakfast included ... plus the wired internet is a reasonable value since they meter the time when you... more

I was looking for a stylish, centrally located hotel with a decent pricing. In this respect, Peter I was an excellent choice. I paid 170 euro per night incl. breakfast, and for Moscow that is below average. In return you get a characterful hotel, not the typical chain type, with absolutely comfortable rooms and good overall facilities in one of... more

Me and my wife were staying three nights in Peter 1st hotel. We arrived at Domodedovo airport and had an approx. 1 1/2 h drive to the hotel. It is located very near to the Kremlin and Red Square in Moscow, both approx. in 10 min walking distance. Checking in was good, however, for a five star hotel you would... more

Hotel Peter I is in a near perfect location for first time visitors, which we were. It's easy walking distance to Red Square, the Bolshoi, and at least two Metro stations and pedestrian subways. The neighborhood includes the TSUM department store and an array of restaurants. The hotel is not, however, a 5-star hotel, which it bills itself. It is... more

I stayed for ten days in the Peter 1st hotel, and the location is just about perfect - tucked away just round the corner from the Bolshoi Theatre, Red Square and the Kremlin, on a very respectable street in an upmarket part of town. The rooms were excellent - huge, furnished to a high quality and lots of extras included.... more

We visited Moscow with some trepidation after reading reviews of how dangerous it is amd how difficult it is to manage without the language. We didn't experience anything remotely untoward. In fact it was far safer than Prague. There was not a single moment when we felt threatened. People were friendly and helpful although some do seem unfriendly when you... more

Lovely, 5(local) star hotel in central Moscow, very close to the world famous Bolshoj Theatre, the Peter 1st has just been renovated and it shows. Everything is brand new and very good quality. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional and I really enjoyed my stay. I stayed in the non-smoking floor and it was quiet and very clean. The... more

Russia has been going through a changing time for the last 5 years, although visably western in parts the Russian mentality is often hard to outroot. Peter 1st is not a bad hotel at all, with regards to value for money its 'fair' by moscow standards, internationally, its unreasonable, however Moscow prices are in a world of there own. Reasonable... more
