Great little hotel, located 15 minutes walk from Red Square and a few metres from Novokuznetskaya Metro Station. Quiet, clean, spacious room with en-suite bathroom (powerful shower), it's own kitchenette and free WiFi. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value, centrally located base from which to discover Moscow.

We spent almost a week in Moscow in May 2010. We didn't want one of those massive hotels hosting thousands of people and with great surprise, after some thorough search online we found the Medea Hotel located very near the Red Square, but still in a quiet area and with just over 30 rooms. The hotel and our room were... More

Within walking distance from Red Square and right beside a metro stop this is good value for Moscow and really has a lot going for it. The rooms are mini apartments with kitchenette (new and nicely done you can close it up and hide it if not needed) and sofa which is lovely when you have work to do in... More

Overall, a very pleasant hotel to stay in, if your company covers the costs. Otherwise it could seem overpriced. Central location in a very good Moscow district, friendly staff, good breakfast, spacious, studio type rooms. Kitchennete in the room could be very useful, if one prefers to spend evenings in the room or have a cup of tee etc. The... More
