My wife and I stayed for a week in mid June 2015 on a bed and breakfast basis. Lovely twin bedded room on the 2nd floor. Staff very efficient and attentive. The location is excellent - several good restaurants nearby and a short maybe 10 min walk to Red Square. Great location for a tourist visit to Moscow.

The room was ok, but we were a bit disappointed initally as we were a party of three ladies and had booked a triple room - at check-in, we were asked if we wanted a third bed, not understanding why this would be the case as we had booked a triple, we soon realised that we actually had a double... Location of the hotel is great. Only 5 min walking distance to Kremlin. Gum, St basil cathedral, old KGB building, bolshoi theater all in walking distance and very pleasent walk way. Hotel it self is little out dated, however service is good, room was nice and clean, not much view from room (attached), stayed 3 nights with family and everyone... More

Location-wise perfectly centered, close to Red Square. All the main attractions are within walking distance - which was great... Friendly staff. Well priced hotel. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Loved Moscow and will easily recommend.

Close to local attractions. Many shops and restaurants around. Nice cozy rooms but booking price confirmation (through hotel.com) was ambiguous. On our confirmation email, the extra bed has been included on the final price given. But during check in, we had to pay more for the extra bed as the receptionist explained that it didn't include the extra bed. We... More

Once you find the hotel, it's then all positive from here on. Breakfast is plenty but don't expect your own choice omelette to be done in a hurry, it was worth the wait. The room was spacious, clean, large comfy bed, plenty of free bathroom bits, & we had a new bath with overhead shower! What more could you want?... More

I've spent 3 nights here on a business trip. Location-wise perfectly centered, all the main attractions are within walking distance. The breakfast for around 20 euro is kind of expensive, but the selection is great. The rooms are tidy and you find the same anywhere around Europe, but I have to mention that the bathroom still reminded me of the... More

Recommended. The location was perfect to walk everywhere including all major sites. Staff was helpful and friendly. They did a good job arranging for cars and even tickets to an ice hockey match. Breakfast a bit pricey as you can find better at restaurants nearby (like Look...take a right out of the hotel and then another right...walk for a block... More

Stayed here as part of a football related trip (CSKA v Man Utd). The hotel is of a very good standard with pleasant staff. Room quality was also very good. The hotel is situated in an ideal location for the main sites of Red Square, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Bolshoi theatre, GUM department store & St Basil's church, all... More

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighborhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
