The best thing about the Element is the location, and prices are lower than many options in the area. But, there's a reason: The rooms are teeny tiny! The smallest room barely has room for a bed, chair and tiny side table. The bathroom was so tiny that I could barely move, and I'm only 5'4! Service at the front... More

The location is the best thing about this hotel. It is a basic hotel with very small but clean rooms. The hotel is slightly difficult to find as you leave the nearest metro station for the first time. Make sure you have a good map. Once you found it, its easy to get around the neighborhood. The front desk was... More

Stayed in the hotel 9 nights in the Comfort room. The size of room varies greatly by the level of comfort that is colour coded. Comfort room was big enough, clean, location is great. It's about 8 min walk to the Arbatskaya metro station, I can't understand when people feel that the metro is not that close... Yes, furniture seems... More

The room has a fridge, and there's a cooler next to the reception. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the receptionist speak english. The room size is good and it's clean. The hotel's location is very central, the Kremlin is within walking distance. Very good restaurants and cafes in the surroundings, particularly "Conversation" cafe. The hotel isn't... More

It's all about the location with this hotel - it's 10-15 mins walk to the Kremlin and Red Square. Room is very basic with cheap furniture and with no tea/coffee making facilities. One of the wardrobe doors was hanging off - reported to reception but wasn't fixed. Hotel has no public areas. Room was clean and there was a free... More

We have spent two nights at Element Hotel during our first stop on the trans-Siberian railway. We easily found it walking from the subway station, which is about 900m far. It is located in a very nice and elegant area of the city, with some restaurants and bars. The Red Square is not too far to be reached on foot... More

It's very close to the Red Square (10 minutes walking) and this is the only real advantage. The rooms are "Lilliput Style", it's difficult to walk around the bed. The bathroom is even smaller. No common spaces. A really poor breakfast is served in the room, but there's no space where to put the tray. Anyway, it's renovated and clean.... More

This hotel has a great location - 10 min walk to the Kremlin and Red Square. It is clean with very friendly staff - most with good English. The Wifi is also very good. The standard double room is clean and modern but small with little space for hanging up clothes. There is no restaurant but plenty nearby.

Location is perfect, just 10 minutes walk to Red Square, safe area, near hotel are Pushkin square and monuments of Cajkovsky, Tolstoy, etc., staff is nice and polite (well spoken english), excellent rooms with completely new facilities and furniture, 24hours supermarket 30m from hotel. You can pay only in Russian rubles. Hotel is little bit hard to find because there... More
