We stayed at Petroff Palace Hotel in the begining of August 2014. First of all, don't expect to stay at the marvellous main building of the palace, which we learned that has been spared for high level Moscow officials and meetings. Rather you will stay at the rooms surrounding the palace and won't be able to enter the main building... More

We deeply enjoyed staying at the Petroff Palace hotel because albeit being a little farther away from the center of the city, it was a great choice all around. The hotel has large grounds and the architecture and design is beautiful. The rooms are quite large and great to relax in after a long day out sight seeing. Even the... More

Good location, friendly staff except the guards, good facilities. Lobby bar doesn't have much to offer, and closes at 9pm which is too early. Though the restaurant opens 24 hours, the atmosphere there is not quit much like a bar.

what can I say, the hotel is amazing and within easy reach of the metro - I believe a five minute walk . The rooms were really well decorated but the only issue we had were the pillows with no substance, we ended up using one of the hotels dressing gowns under the pillow. The staff were very helpful and... More

Stayed in this Hotel for 3 night , the Hotel stuff is very Friendly , especially the receptionist Lena. I would give this Hotel 5 star expect , that i was in January temperature outside is -22c in order to go from the Loby to your room or the restaurant you need to go outside ~ 800m in the wind... Moscow has a fairly bad reputation for hotels, so I booked with some trepidation. I'm glad I booked the Petroff Palace! The hotel is beautiful. Grand state rooms with comfortable beds (but please get rid of the cheap pillows!). The restaurant is wonderful and the service exceptional. Staff all spoke perfect English and were helpful and welcoming. The receptionist spent... More

Great hotel. around 7-8min walk from nearest metro. If you want to live like Napoleon then it is the place to visit (Napoleon stayed there during his strike on Russia). Ceilings are really high, rooms not the largest but cost is decent for Moscow as well. Restaurant in the hotel is good, try the blins with roe (think caviar is... More

The service at every level of this Palace is world class and exceptional. The staff at this hotel not only helped accommodate each need, but they found innovative ways to save money they could have easily remained silent about. From the front desk to the kitchen to the Asst GM they have 1 overarching goal - customer service. I was... More

I was really looking forward to staying in this hotel and had partial satisfaction. The whole complex is magnificent and well kept from the outside.Very impressive. The rooms are nicely furnished with copy antique furniture , however resembling the period of the hotel. Bathrooms , severely in need of renovation. Restaurant has a socialist flair still , dull however . Food... More

If you are looking for something a little different then this maybe for you. A beautiful hotel with a real palace atmosphere. Our standard room was spacious and the décor lovely. The large bed was comfortable and a good nights sleep could be had as the rooms were doubled glazed. Located less than 5 mins walk from Dynamo metro, you... More
