The hotel was fantastic! Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Had mini fridge and snack basket in room. Nice touch. Extremely quiet for being on such a busy street. I found the staff to be wonderful and very helpful. Will stay again.

Problems at check-in, even if confirmed by mail, superior room not available. Lot of people behind the counter, but speed… so slow, and problematic, not to mention level of English. Room small, old furniture, but clean and warm. But noisy – one side of building facing very busy (all day and night) street, “quiet” side which I’ve got was from... More

Have stayed here several times and always found it comfortable, on a reasonable scale compared to some of the vast hotels of Moscow, and with helpful, multilingual staff. The rooms are quite plain, and not all of them recently decorated, but its always clean and the beds are comfortable. The slightly faded soviet elegance of the main hotel jars with... More

The place is what you expect to have been a grand hotel back in the soviet time. Looks like nothing has changed since. High ceilings, big rooms, "Grand Budapest Hotel"-like lobby (with the London, Paris, Moscow vintage clocks!), groom, elevators and endless corridors. That said, the hotel is very well located, 1 metro stop from the airport train and 2... More

Skyrise is being built next door. Horrible noise ALL night. Non-stop. Impossible to sleep. They are working 24/7. The noise does not subside at all, no matter if it's 1 am or 6 am. The room is not great, either. Avoid at all cost.

The Hotel is very well located. In both my stays here, I found the staff at the reception very efficient and well prepared. Most of them speak good English. The rooms are basic but gave the required amenities. Every thing works, the Wifi is good and free. There are lots of good places around to grab a bite across all... More

Staying in Presnensky

Neighborhood Profile
Presnensky
The neighborhood is divided into two major halves by Krasnaya Presnya street: the southern part highlights Moscow city – businesses contained in skyscrapers along with the White House - where the Russian government works. The north is a bit more relaxed and casual, visitors here will find the Moscow zoo, National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a number of fine restaurants. The beautiful neo-gothic Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is usually packed with the events such as organ music concerts.
