The Danilovsky (Danilowsky) Hotel offers a very nice quiet setting with a large park. The staff was extremely friendly. The food at the restaurant was very good. Prices are excellent for Moscow. The pictures look good, but don't be fooled by the fact that it is a beautiful building from the outside - it's a monastery, frugal. I am writing this review exactly a year after my visit. The Danilovsky hotel is situated out of the city centre, by Moscow standards it is fairly cheap. Although it is close to Tulskya metro station in a reasonable area, you must walk down one of two dark badly lit streets at night. I was a little on edge every time.
