Great location right next to Red Square and Kreml - Easy axcess to the subway and walking distance to a lot of sights, restaurants etc. Always taxies upfront as well -... more

Built in 1898 & refurbed recently, a tad bland with brass fittings & little art work, this Hotel is overall very good, although some areas after the refurb have had all the original plasterwork removed, lessoning the turn of the century feel. The location is excellent as is the cleanliness, the Spa is great, the Molton Brown & the ordinary... more

What a great hotel. I was amazed by the view and proximity of the hotel to the red square. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable and a great set up so I could on my pc. The hotel breakfast had a great selection and the service was very prompt. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are on leisure... more

I stayed in the Baltschugg for business purpose. The room was great, with high ceilings and I loved the treatment in the room. In the bibliotheque which is located at the highest floor, you have a spectacular view over the Red Square and the Kreml. The buffet breakfast was great, a large choice and I loved the small café, the... more

A very nice property, but as a non-smoker, no matter where you went in this hotel, it smelled like smoke. Bed were comfortable, but also smelled of smoke. The bathrooms are a bit strange, with the lights on the side, but in general this is a decent property. The views from dome of the hotel rooms are great and the... more

Most of the other reviews are spot on, so I will only try to add new comments (except to reiterate how expensive Moscow is). If you are in Moscow for the first time, don't mind getting ripped off, want a super safe and centrally located hotel with 3-star level comfort - This is YOUR hotel!!! (Okay, I haven't stayed in... more

This hotel is located in "position A" for both business and sightseeing. Ask for a river view and you also will have a shot of seeing Red Square and the Kremlin from your room. Rates here are extremely expensive, as it is very central to Moscow. For what you are paying, the staff was disappointing when it came to arranging... more

Stayed at the Baltschug Kempinski for 2 nights in November for business, my first trip to Moscow. Overall, I rate the hotel highly. Pros: - The decor is nice and somewhat elegant. The Hyatt Ararat and Ritz Carlton would probably be a bit nicer, but it's still quite good - Room was very spacious - Very good amenities such as... more

The Kempinski has good and bad aspects. Good: rooms are clean and modern even if not luxurious. Comfy beds. good breakfast (liked the fresh fruit juices and a decent cappuccino too) staff polite (well, by Moscow standards anyway) can sit in bar area at night without being pestered by prostitutes (unlike the National) Bad: location - there is nothing near... more
