It appears to be a 2 story hotel, but we were on the 3rd floor. The room was small but clean and quiet with a small bathroom. The staff spoke excellent English and were quite attentive. The lunch in the atrium was nice. The buffet breakfast was decent with a fair selection of foods. The best thing about the hotel... More

Old fashioned two floor but nicely renovated building in traditional Russian style. I have stayed here a couple of times during business trips and can recommend it for both tourist and business travellers. It is conveniently located close to several underground stations and just around a 15-20 minute walk from to the Red Square. From the Belaruskaya Airport express train... More

My room was clean and very small with just a couple feet of space around the double bed. I am told the reason for this is that hotels are very expensive in Moscow. The room had a mini frig, flat screen TV, a chair and a closet. Near the door was a full length mirror with hooks for hanging clothing... More

I am regularly visiting this place due to expat work proximity and limited hotels offer in the area. Rooms are getting overpriced ( in some periods nearly 300€/day). Air conditioning not very efficient. In winter usually overheated. The rooms with street window are very poor noise insulated and you'll listen to all the traffic. The atrium rooms are more quiet,... Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your opinion - we really appriciate any feedback from our guests. We are taking mesures to improve our old airconditioning system and we are sure that rather soon we will achieve comfort temperatures in any season. As far as the noise is concerned it is either advantage or disadvatage of the location of... More

The hotel is well located on a busy street with a lot of restaurants and bars. The staff is attentive and the room, although a bit outdated is well equipped. Breakfast is delicious and decor is very nice in a old russian style The difficulty is to find the hotel, especially if you arrive at night. The entrance is very... More

I notice that escort service BabylonMoscow located near the hotel. I saw many beautiful girls in mini skirts walking around. The hotel is very good and the price is reasonable for Moscow. Only one problem not all of the staff speak English.

The hotel is very beautiful, with a nice garden where you can have a drink. Breakfast was very good, the room was huge and comfortable but it was summer and very warm and the air conditioning didn´t work. The staff practically ignored me when I asked whether this would be fixed. They speak a little English but they are not... More

We stayed 3 nights as part of an OAT TRAVEL extended tour. Very nice and smaller hotel with personnel service. 15 minute walk to town center. Grocery, resturaunt, banking all within minutes of the hotel. Would recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

The Sretenskaya Hotel is delightful in many respects. Not too big, lovely Russian decorations in the dining room, attractive indoor garden, friendly staff and well-appointed rooms. The drawback is that you do have to walk some distance to reach it. The nearest metro station is not too far away, but it is not on the most convenient line. It's a... More
