Massive hotel, everything you need is there. Very very busy, good for the holidayer. Dining hall very big but crowded, could be untidy at times with all the tourists. Food quality 7/10. Staff ? Not friendly, defenitely not friendly. Hotel Kosmos - great value for money for the average traveller.

Atmosphere of late '90th. Less of light in a hall and in the room. Nice view over the window (25 stores building). Bad item: Monkey style Jumping Security Guard while crude checking your guest pass. Not polite! Disgusting!

Unfortunately a massive concrete factory of a hotel in which the individual is lost and not at all valued. The rooms are OK But the lobby and reception is like a bus station on a grand scale. I have stayed here more than once and will do again as it is convenient for where I work but. I stayed here... More

Same ancient furnishings, same horrid in-house restaurant prices, same silly elevator guard policy. Improved wi-fi internet (faster, but still unstable connection), improved restaurant food, greatly improved breakfast. Final verdict remains that this is a convenient hotel from a transportation perspective and that's really the only thing going for it.

I've stayed at the Cosmos probably 6 or 7 times; I always find it clean and comfortable. Probably more 3 star but really nice. I never wait 20 or 30 minutes to check in or out, 2, or 3 at most. The reception staff are always very polite and helpful. Yes, people do sometimes push in, that's Russia for you,... More

Quite enjoyed my stay here for a few days. The room was clean & comfortable and there were plenty of good food options. It is a massive & quite busy place, but the room was nice & quiet enough, and it was quite reasonably priced. The metro is close by for easy access to everywhere, even if you have to... More

I had cause to stay in the Cosmos whilst in Moscow on business. I arrived at 23.15 after a long day and was ignored by the one person on reception whilst he attended to other Russian speaker who just barged in. When I finally got his attention I was greeted with 'What do you want' which I just put down... More

Once Soviet tourisst hotel, Cosmos is stll big and a bit Soviet styled. Now, a year after, I find it better, cleaner and of better quality. The facilities are improved, toilets are clean, lightning is better, many rooms are immproved, I was told almost all rooms in the hotel (huge hotel). Personnel is OK. Food is OK. I love sweets.... Although, the hotel looks very nice and fancy from the outside , but you don't want to enter any room. First of all, the receptionists are not friendly and you are allowed to ask only one question. The next question they will shout at you. second, there are no bell boys to help you carry your luggage. and if you... More

Bit out of the centre of Moscow but, getting to most places is easy by using the Metro. Make sure you have a map though as, easy as it is to use, all signs are in Russian. Try to acquaint yourself with the 'shape' of words which may help you. Great park nearby with a Space Museum. Hotel rooms are... More
