The one and only hotel's advantage is it's location - 1-2 minutes walking from Smolenskaya subway station, which is quite close to the city centre or just a couple of stations to the heart of the city and only 2 direct stations to Expocentre (extremely convenient for those who arrive for the fairs). I've stayed at this hotel several times... More

The hotel is very dated. The lobby and the main restaurant area are renovated, but the rooms are very old (at least on the 8th floor where I was). The room was very cold a night. The bathroom was the tiniest I've ever seen. Out of many outlets on the wall only one worked. The bed was uncomfortable. On the... More

Dear Vitaliy, I would like to thank your for chosing our hotel and leaving your feedback on TripAdvisor. We were really pleased to learn that you enjoyed your breakfast, the location of the hotel and the quality of bed linen. I should admit with pain that some of the rooms in our hotel have not been renovated yet. And it... More

By entering the venue you are overwhelmed by its atmosphere. I am sad to say that the atmosphere is sad, and the staff seemed not interested at all. The 2 guards/security officeres on the door never acknowledged us, it seemed they were looking at us like we did something wrong. The Guest Services staff was avoiding eye contact, and were... More

At first glance, this hotel is a modest but simple design with not too many architectural features. But I found this hotel to be a true value in a progressive part of Moscow. At the tail end of the famous Arbat Street, you are conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and the now closed McD's. The staff are typically attentive friendly... More

Rooms very basic, plumbing worse, food mediocre. Heating was a small electric bar with fan (but it was effective!). Staff disinterested, vodka very expensive. If you want an old-style soviet experience, this is probably it!

This was a mistake. Whole floor smelled like urine. Rooms have never been fixed for last 20 years. Housekeeper told that this hotel may be closed any time, so they are not taking care of it. Beds are old and loud. After complaining i was offered to upgrade my room to higher floor for $40 more per day, which is... More

The only plus is the location - and only for one night! Rooms are terrible, but naturally the price is low. Not for families or for holidays. If you can, eat elsewhere - this hotel is not for food-lovers.

We stayed here for two nights, two too many! We had to change rooms because the washbasin leaked. In our new room the curtains covered either the centre of the window or the sides but not all the window. The carpet was worn and looked grubby in the poor light. The bathroom was positively antique - gaffer tape had been... More
