First room I was in I had to wear a hat in bed it was soo cold. The room was small, very old, rediculously expensive, uncomfortable,,, I have never had worse. I tried to have a bath, the water was YELLOW with BITS of god knows what in it and of course just above cold. I was upgraded and the... more

The hotel boasts a luxurious lobby, but the service at the reception definitly needs improvement. When I tried to book an airplane ticket for a domestic flight, first, the lady made me wait for about 10 min., then she was so obnoxiously rude while searching for a suitable ticket, that I refused to buy a ticket from her. Later that... more

Moscow is a difficult place to find a good hotel and almost impossible – a good hotel for a reasonable price. Hotel Belgrad is one of those numerous mediocre 3 star hotels that charge far beyond of their worth. I guess it is not totally bad but it could definitely be much better. The only truly great thing about it... more

What a dump!! We stayed there about 2 nights ago and it was without a doubt the worst hotel I've ever been in. The room was tiny - approx 2.5m wide by about 9 long and extremely expensive for what it was. If I lay on the floor (assuming I'd had all my shots) I could touch one wall with... more

Location is Great....BUT WAIT! My suggestion? If you're looking for a convenient base of operations for a trip where you plan to spend VERY little time actually IN the hotel, this is a great choice. If you're looking for a "home away from home" keep looking! :) The location of the Belgad can't be beaten! You are within EASY walking... more

This hotel was selectet by a company on short notice, as the originally booked one was full. My check-in and -out were fast and without any problems. Nobody was unfriendly. Location was very convenient (many restaurants and shops within walking distance), walking distance to Red Square about 15 min. via a nice pedestrian street (Arbat). My room was modestly equipped,... more

Beware of "unrenovated" rooms. The festival that was paying for the room I stayed in paid specifically (and substantially more) for renovated rooms, but the hotel just took the money and put our whole group in truly disgusting, soviet style rooms. Cold, smelly, dark, and just nasty. Not fun. We ended up moving to Hotel Arbat, which is an excellent... more

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 5 days and this was the worst experience we have ever had. Upon arrival we were greeted by grumpy staff who were most unhelpful and seemed to be busy playing games on their computers rather than trying to answer my questions. The staff ignored our inquiries and just shrugged. Moreover when... more
