As a frequent business traveller normally traveling throughout Asia Pacific, Africa Middle East and US what struck me about this hotel was the staff. From the reception to the housekeepers everyone was very kind, service was impecable. While the hotel is a little old and could do with a refurb it was comfortable and very very clean. Would much rather... More

average standard for this hotel that I would only reccomend for business travellers who need meeting places nearby the hotel. I have been given an upgrade to a junior suite and the room was spacious and equipped with good technology. However carpets and especially bathroom would need a refurbishment. Price is average, i.e. not cheap compared to moscow standards but... More

This hotel is really getting old. Shower and bathroom do not always work as they supposed to. Furniture got old too. But the worst is that there is no way to control room temperature, air conditioner is managed centrally and locked for heating. I also can not manage to switch it off. Adding up draughts from windows when -20 C... More

The room is very good and clean, the front desk was very friendly when we checked in late at night. the breakfast was excellent. There is a PC free to use on the 2nd floor. But, be aware, there are two metro stations near the hotel with the SAME name, one is on ring road, the other one is on... More

I stayed here in August 2010 with a group. Doesn't look like much from outside, but is clean, comfortable hotel, with good breakfast (didn't try other meals, though various restaurats etc around). Is on one of Moscow's main thoroughfares, which is busy 24/7, so I imagine a room not looking over the street is an essential. Close to metro stations,... More

The area surrounding the hotel is like a building site (and colleagues tell me it's been like that for years). In contrast, the hotel is very civilised, staffed with very helpful, efficient and cheerful staff, and the facilities are pretty good. It is also remarkably quiet (at least my room on the 4th floor was - which, incidentally, also has... More

Hotel is conveniently located, very close to Metro "Belorusskaya". F&B outlets are ok, but not top-notch. If you are looking for a good hotel, with proper international standards and an ok location, this is your place to be. The snacks menu at the coffee shop (ground floor) is perfect for a decent and yet speedy lunch. When ordering, make sure... More

This hotel does not live up to the expectations of a Marriott. The front desk service was slow and the room had a smell like it was previously a smoking room. The location is also a long walk to Red Square. If you stay at this hotel use the subway to get to the Kremiln.

The hotel is located downtown Moscow and that is why they charge extremly high rates. Check-in and check-out took very long and I was surprised about the relatively low standard of the room I stayed in. It was large but with dated furniture. The heating was turned of and it was extremly cold. The breakfast was good but not as... More
