Very spacious rooms, decent internet connectivity, great beds. Good bartender @lobby bar, Excellent breakfast. 15 minutes walk to Red Square - so good for a first timer in Moscow, can do business and see the main sites. If you have a tariff with free internet - check your bill on checkout, as they always forget to remove it. Disadvantages -... more

Stayed here during business trip to Moscow. Convenient to metro, Red Square and Kremlin (20 minute walk). Staff was very helpful with advice. Rooms were clean, but on the small side. As with most Moscow hotels, internet connection cost was an outrageous $30 a day. Buffet breakfast included in the room rate was a plus. Was last in Moscow in... more

We spent 2 nights at our own expense prior to joining a conducted tour, which began at the same hotel. That was why we copped the huge tariff, as we did not want to move from another hotel. However I must say that for the AU4-500, you could have up to 4 people in the room (we had 3). I... more

I stayed three nights at this hotel whilst attending a conference there, the hotel was not sumptuous, but it was extremely comfortable, with spotlessley clean rooms and ample, quality toiletries which were replenished during my stay. I had several meals in the Samobranka restaurant, including breakfast and lunch, plus room service on one occasion. Meals were plentiful and delicious, and... more

This was a good hotel. Not great, not bad. If you consider yourself relatively low maintenance, then this will be a perfect fit for you. If I was staying at a Marriott at any major US city, I think this is consistent with what I'd find. PROS: *LOCATION. Go left and you're headed towards the Kremlin. Go right and you're... more

Please, Marriott Grand, put some better Satellite TV channels in the rooms, and provide a cheaper internet service. $35 per day for a connection is rough. I am here again for a long term business stay and after a week here it is DULL. The gym is a saviour. more

At our own cost we stayed two nights before joining a 16 day Waterways Cruise to St Petersburg. The Marriott Grand must have been OK because President Obama stayed there the day after we left! We found everything to our satisfaction - check in, room was good plus excellent service from the Concierge and front desk staff who all spoke... more

Few minutes later was event manager Anna. She gave us an examples... more

I have stayed in this hotel on and off over the years- not much choice initially as there was little competition. Now there is and I would definitely not stay in this place again. Moscow is a rip off re hotels anyway- although coupled with new 5 star hotels opening and a dearth of business people with crazy expense accounts-... more
