Mercur Arbat is comfortable, clean, easy to get in and out of, nice roomy bathrooms, good wifi and a good breakfast buffet. As of this morning, this hotel is rated the #3 hotel in Moscow. I don't know that Mercur Arbat is really "better" than the Ritz Carlton or some other, but it's definitely a good place to stay and... More

Should it be mandatory for any hotel designer to spend at least one night in a hotel? If they did, they probably not make this mistakes of this hotel designer! Both my wife and I wear glasses. The last thing we both do at night, before going to sleep is to take off our glasses. A hotel room without a... More

Stayed there 2 nihts on a business trip. The place is quite new, 2013, and in very good conditions. My only caveat was about external noise - I was on the back side of the hotel, on the 4th floor, and could hear the very loud AC systems of the neighbourhood all night. Some of the rooms seem bigger than... More

Everything is excellent! The location was great, the rooms were clean and modern (though a bit small), the staff were helpful, breakfast was delicious! I don't have any negative comments except for 1. I arranged for transport from the airport to the hotel via email in advance. We had to wait an hour before the transport arrived. It's because of... Great rooms! Excellent location! Amazing food! I'm a hotelier and we are very difficult to impress. The food and beverages staff is amazing. Great Job and be sure that whenever I'm back, I'll be here sure. Walking distance from Arbat and the metro station!

Totally happy with our stay in this hotel. Arrived earlier than check-in but were immediately let into our room. Reception was friendly and helpful and spoke english. As stated the location was perfect. My daughter and I walked Arbat street many times, walked to the Kremlin and explored further afield by the metro which was handy with the station so... More

From the first smile (from Mariyam, Artem and Otopek) when checking in at reception it was clear that all the staff at the Mercure Arbat have not only been well trained in hospitality but take pride in delivering excellent customer service. Having stayed here with my family of four (4 nights Sept 14th-18th) we found that no request was too... More

We spent two nights in this hotel in August 2014. The hotel has very high standards, nicely decorated and clean, the staff was always helpful. We got a lovely, quiet room, facing away from the busy road nearby. We would definitely recommend this hotel for tourists visiting Moscow who would like to get the most for their money in terms... Best hotel I have stayed at in a long time. Reception staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Domestic help remains invisible. Quality of room was superb. All amenities included included tow free bottled waters and an electric water heater for complimentary coffee and tea. Bathroom spacious and well lit. Next to Metro station and famous Arbat shopping and entertainment street.... More

The hotel was recommended by a friend and I am very happy with it. Location was perfect. The hotel is a block or so to the Arbat street in Moscow where you can have a good selection of restaurants and stores to browse around. A few meters away was also the metro station which makes travelling around moscow very convenient.... More
