Hotel Bagration is a centrally located hotel with nice breakfast. However hotel does not have other facilities except elevator. It is having lift and very near to Park Kulty and other railway stations (10 minutes walk, forgot the name). It is also not far from Kremlin, Red Square, Gorsky Museum etc. are within 15minutes of walk. Bit expansive Reception can... More

The Bagration hotel is situated in a quiet street only 10 minutes walking from the metro station Kropotkinskaya. The rooms are sober but clean and have television. All rooms have own toilet, bath and/or shower. There is a restaurant in the hotel where you can have a simple but good meal both for lunch and diner. For breakfast they serve... More

I am very happy that I was booked a stay in this small hotel for three days recently. It is not far from the subway stations, but you do not need any transport to go the old and new Arbat and the very city centre, if you prefer walking. I don't long for more luxury, it is enough that everything... More

I stayed in Bagration hotel in July 2014 during my trip to Russia. Excellent services, polite and extremely helpful receptionists. Very good variety of food plus to it if you will ask a bar attendant about some more food for breakfast they would always offer you some fried egs or porridge or some other traditional hot breakfasts which they prepare... A very comfortable hotel not far from the centre of Moscow. Close to Moscow transport too, but within walking distance of Kremlin and Red Square. We had a lovely suite, very comfortable, clean, good facilities. Breakfast was also included in our stay. Friendly staff and no language problems for us. Just a little hard to find at first, but well... More

I booked this hotel because it had good reviews and it was not expensive at all; but frankly it was way better that what I expected, rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom is perfect, it is in a very peaceful part of Moscow, and it is a very quiet place, staff is very helpful, decoration is nice, and breakfast was... Once you find the hotel (other reviewers helpfully pointed out it's behind an archway that can't be seen from the street) the actual location is perfect for exploring Moscow on foot. We walked to most of the attractions and that added to the overall experience of Moscow. The rooms are huge - very 70's, with crockery encased in corner units... More

A last minute choice, the room was very cheap (at 2800R per night) but did not seem so. My room was cleaned daily and breakfast, although not perfect, was satisfactory. I had dinner there on one occasion and it was very nice. It is in an excellent location between Park Kultury (near Gorky Park) and Kropotkinskaya Metro stations. The receptionists... More

Moscow is expensive when it comes to accommodation. If you want to stay central be prepared to pay for it. In my opinion Bagration Hotel has a good balance with price, quality and location. It is located on a quiet street within 8 minutes walk to Metro station Kropotninskaya or 10 minutes to Park Kultury (circle line). From Kropotkinskaya station it... More

This hotel looks like it hasn't been modernized for at least 25 years, both in terms of interior and in terms of service. There was a stale smell in the room, heating fixed at 28-30C (needed to open the window with -12C outside), extremely antipathic service and the breakfast buffet was looked like it was served 3 hours earlier with... Staying in Khamovniki

Neighborhood Profile
Khamovniki
Khamovniki could be considered a city of its own – here it’s possible to find some of Moscow’s most important cultural institutions such as the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Novodevichy Convent and Trubetskikh Estate, great sport locations such as Luzhniki stadium and aqua complex, and long and beautiful Luzhniki embankment. Pick your preferred form of transport to explore the area – bicycle or river cruise during the summer and taxi in winter as many of the great places are situated beyond a short walk.
