First of all, I think the most important thing is the attitude of the workers towards customers. In this hotel, all the workers were so kind and always smiling, it makes you feel much better. The rooms and the beds are quiet comfortable and clean. Moreover it's very close to arbat streets and смоленская metro station. To conclude, I can... More

Stayed here for 2 night's in room 19 on the first floor. We arrived at 2230 hours and came to a locked grey reception door, to the right of that is a glass door, we rang the buzzer and got checked in straight away. Room was comfy and clean, the window lock was broken so to avoid traffic noise we... More

The reception is aparted from the rooms. It means that if you arrive when is raining or snowing, after check-in, you must carry your luggage under rain (or snow) until reach the room. The hotel is located inside a set of buildings in such way that if you call a taxi it does not enter to reach the hotel, so... More

Really good location, decent wifi connection, very clean and modern. Free towels and linen, the 'drinking water' tap was really handy too. The staff could have been a bit more friendly, but from what I gathered this is normal in Russia. Will definitely book here again if I return to Moscow.

This hostel is very good. Clean, friendly and with good location. BUT. It's very hard to find. Arriving at the address you don't see the hostel. It's located in an back alley, in a very dark place between houses. Besides that, I recommend it very much. Staff was fantastic and they speak english very well. Enjoyed my stay much.

Okay, you will get lost to get there as it is a bit challenging, once you get to smolenska metro station, you will have to walk ten minutes, the hotel reception is separated from the rooms. Room are small, specially mine without window, the cheapest option, but the biggest problem, they have a very poor noise isolation, so if you... More

I stayed in this hostel for 4 days and was satisfied with cosy rooms and convenient location as well as with tasty breakfast. The staff was eager to help with information, excursions and registration. I visited the Kremlin and liked it, is worthy to visit. The hostel was clean and safe.

Staying in Arbat

Neighborhood Profile
Arbat
Crowds of tourists, both local and international take in Old Arbat and its modern and gigantic peer – New Arbat. One reason visitors keep coming is no doubt Konstantin Melnikov’s famous private house, now open to the public and worthy of a visit. After exploring one of the oldest parts of Moscow, avoid the crowds and turn to the side streets and boulevards where calmness and affordable food is plentiful.
