Good hotel, staff could speak enough english, we had no problems communicating. Rooms were fine, we had a ground floor room with view to the road. Street noise wasn't bad, but the walls between rooms are thin. You can hear the tv next door, and some talking, but it didn't go late into the night or disturb us. However, always... More

Chosen because of location to my business trip site, this hotel was surprisingly nice for he price paid for the room. I could never expect to have such a nice room in a quiet street in the noisy megapolis, with a very nice breakfast in a cosy restaurant and very friendly and responsive staff both at reecption and in the... Spent there a week in January. Great location, just three minutes walk from Sportivnaya metro station. Red Metro line will take you downtown in only ten minutes. The hotel is relatively new, with pleasant interiors, cozy little restaurant (don't miss the breakfast and try their lunch!), excellent wi-fi, and attentive staff. My Standard room could do better in terms of... More

Stay for 5 nights with wife and a toddler. Considering the hotel price in moscow, this one is quite good. Clean, nice room and bath room. Service is okay, but sometimes you have to ask for housekeeping to clean up your room. The highlight is the small restaurant in the hotel, must try. The food is surprisingly great. Other pluspoint is location,within... More

Location: The small, cute hotel is within one hour walking distance from the center; nice walk mostly along the river and through Gorki park. A metro station is very close, if you really want to miss the lovely walk. Our room was small, furniture ok, but with carpet, which is ugly from my point of view. Unfortunately the carpet was... I recently stayed for a week at the Blues Hotel, and was very impressed by the quality of the room and service. I don't have good Russian speaking abilities, but they spoke enough English that we had no problems. The gentleman who checked me in (unfortunately I don't remember his name) was absolutely fantastic helping me get checked in and... More

Moscow is London in Russian really, but if you don’t have any knowledge of the Russian alphabet and language, Moscow may appear a daunting place. Finding the right hotel like in any capital city can be a minefield. Everywhere appears expensive, but may I recommend the following little gem that I found, that suited my needs more than satisfactorily. The... More
