the hotel is in the 5th floor, and on weekends elevator is not working, and unfortunately we stayed on weekend and have to climb 5 floors every time. the hotel staff they don't know english well so we difficultly understand each other. You can't use fridge after 10 pm. the room was clean, the beds comfortable, and large balcony

We found this hotel at short notice when our apartment agency let us down. Service was friendly and helpful, the location was good, just a short walk south of Red Square and the river, and the price was cheap for central Moscow. The hotel itself was pretty basic, located in an office building, and frustratingly the lift 'didn't work' outside... More

Cons: its on a 5 floor and elevator is working as follows-Mo-Fr - 08:30-18:30, Sa-Su - out of service! A bit hard to find unless you use Google street view. Pros: very close to center and underground station. Very quiet place. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff is excellent.

The area is good and the "hotel" in close to the metro station, just 3 minutes walking distance. However it is very difficult to find it either on foot or by car, since it is inside a small road, and without signs, only on the entrance door. it is located on the fifth floor of an office building. entrance does... Apart from being a short 10 minute walk from Red Square, this hotel is terrible. Firstly, there is no elevator for people, so you'll have plenty of fun walking up 5 flights of stairs. We checked out early, before the luggage lift opened, meaning that we had to carry 2 large suitcases down 5 stories of stairs... Secondly, we made... More

We stayed here in April 2011 and had a wonderful time. Breakfast was included even though it wasn't specified in our booking from booking.com. Great value for money. The owner even got up to open the door for us when we arrived back very late one evening, we felt very embarrassed, yet she was friendly and non-judgemental. Don't forget to... More

Staying in Zamoskvorechye

Neighborhood Profile
Zamoskvorechye
It wouldn’t be a mistake to call Pyatnitskaya street the main axis of this neighborhood – turn one direction and you’ll find the Tretyakov Gallery in Lavrushinsky Lane, turn another – a hip Scandinavian restaurant. Old churches now embrace contemporary life with style and grace. Going to Zamoskvorechye is like visiting during the times when it was a medieval Russian quarter, but with a modern twist of 20th century buildings pushing themselves into the 21st century with new businesses opening weekly. Stroll down Pyatnitskaya to taste dozens of global cuisines – from Ukrainian and Georgian to Thai and American.
