The room was excellent, so is the hotel in general and the facilities. There is one big issue at least for me. The hotel is located in a location that has no metro near it, nor restaurants or any other outside facilities. During the winter is makes it much harder to leave the hotel and cruise around. For me this... More

My husband and I had a 20 hour layover and wanted to explore Moscow. This place is close to train stations and is within walking distance to red square. However, when it's freezing out make sure that you are layered because just walking for a few min in the wrong clothes will leave you chilled to the core. The hotel... More

The hotel has nice, modern equipped, clean, and spacious rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. WLAN is for free. The breakfast is good and offers a good selection food. The next Metro station is about a 10 min. walk, the city center approx. 20 min.

I stayed in the Aquamarine last week while I was on holiday in Moscow. Here’s a quick review: Location- The hotel is a bit isolated in the business district but it’s only a 10 minute walk to the Tretyakovskaya metro station which also has lots of restaurants and bars. And it’s a pleasant 20 minute stroll along the river to... More

About 10 minutes walk from closest metro station (green line). In a business area, thus not much around in the evening. Rooms are clean, modern, rather good size. Sauna, Fitness and Steam bath in basement (basic equipment), as well as some professional massages. Breakfast ok - large variety of things - buffet. Free wi-fi in rooms and lobby / restaurant... Spacious room, tastefully decorated (bathroom too). It's ca. 15 min walk to metro, OK when not raining. Ample choice of omlets and fresh cold cuts, fruits etc. for breakfast. Reliable, decent Net connection. Sadly, drab view of some back yards.

The room and bathroom were nicely decorated (especially the bathroom) and was relatively quiet. Location was good - about a 25 min walk to Red Square. Free breakfast was lovely! Unfortunately the room was smoky (despite being a non-smoking room).

The hotel is a bit of a walk to the tourist areas, but if you're adventurous, there are some great restaurants within walking distance across the river (there is a small foot bridge nearby). The hotel is clean, the staff is pleasant, and the breakfast buffet is tasty!

We stayed for three nights at this nice, well situated hotel. I have to say that it's very clean with comfortable rooms and kind staff. The breakfast buffet is exceptional with fresh and very tasty products. Even the restaurant and the bar are worth visiting for dining.

Staying in Zamoskvorechye

Neighborhood Profile
Zamoskvorechye
It wouldn’t be a mistake to call Pyatnitskaya street the main axis of this neighborhood – turn one direction and you’ll find the Tretyakov Gallery in Lavrushinsky Lane, turn another – a hip Scandinavian restaurant. Old churches now embrace contemporary life with style and grace. Going to Zamoskvorechye is like visiting during the times when it was a medieval Russian quarter, but with a modern twist of 20th century buildings pushing themselves into the 21st century with new businesses opening weekly. Stroll down Pyatnitskaya to taste dozens of global cuisines – from Ukrainian and Georgian to Thai and American.
