This place was in the no mans land between a high end boutique hotel and a business hotel. The design was a bit garish (perhaps aimed more at nouveau-riche Armenians), gold everywhere but on the whole it's in a not-terrible location, reasonable price and with nice people. You cant ask for more I guess. Basic, friendly and comfortable - but... More

It is very small hotel but full of asian decour. Cuisine is well enough but expensive. Rooms are cosy but sometimes are small and stifling specially in the summer time. Personnel are welcome but chambermaids are slow when check out. Location is very good - close to city center and lot's of places to go out in the evenings.

Stayed in April for two nights at different times. Small rooms on one night could just ove around the bed.But on one night it was reasonably spaced.Bathrooms clean.Breakfast food fesh and of excellent quality.Better check your bookings a day before reaching held uo for room at 1130 for almost 40 mins to make the room available. On the whole reasonably... More

I have been in Moscow last week and I spent 4 nights at the hotel. Rooms are big and very comfortable with very nice bathroom as well. The breakfast and the restaurant are very good and we also had dinner there for 2 nights. I recommend this hotel 100%

Almost impossible to get a non-smoking room. The rooms are small and stuffy, with almost no sound-proofing. I also shared the bathroom with a lot of insects... The elevator is something on its own; so be prepared to went 5 to 10 minutes to go up or down. A lot of administration at the reception and no-one being fluent in... More

As a general hotel is OK, location is close to the metro stations and also close to the Red Square by taxi. Rooms are comfortable and clean, not so well decorated but enough for business travelers. Surprisingly one guy from the reception can speak English very well, but mostly staff couldn't speak in English..

Hotel is OK. Could not get air conditioning on as the remote was missing and it took staff far too long to resolve this in sweltering heat. Breakfast was slightly farcical as no-one could speak English, despite being told at booking time that English was spoken. This meant I was asked to write what we wanted on a serviette so... More

It may not be in the center of Moscow, but the Mandarin Hotel is a 10 minute walk from a subway train that takes you to the Red Square after 5 stops. The hotel appears cozy with a comfortable lobby/salon. Rooms are rather dark and small, but they have essential amenities. Food was ok but service at the restaurant was... More
