Having searched the internet for a place to stay that we could afford in Moscow we stumbled by chance on The Mayakovskaya B&B. Straight away Tanya e mailed us back with prices and information about how to get there. We decided to go ahead and book. Tanya gave us instant confirmation and helped us obtain the required invitation to enable us to obtain our visa. We kept in contact asking many questions about our forthcoming stay in Moscow, nothing was too much trouble for her to answer. We arrived to a rain soaked Moscow about 6p.m. All Tanya`s directions got us straight out of the airport on the express train and onto the metro. Mayakovskaya Metro station is a 3 minute walk from the B&B. As we searched the streets a voice from the balcony of the B&B shouted our names - Tanya had been looking out for us.
