Pros: - Location: (Walking) Closest metro station (4mins), Tretyakov Gallery (5mins), Fallen Monument Park (16mins), Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (18mins), Kremlin (20mins). - Free in-room WiFi. - Two free bottles of water daily. - Spotlessly clean room. Cons: - Bathroom: Whilst clean and modern, expect only the basics. Extremely small and thin towels and no bathroom amenities (only an... More

A fairly basic hotel with simple rooms, but fine for a short visit. Located mid-way between Red Square and Gorky Park (each are about 20 mins on foot from the hotel). There are also some decent restaurants and bars a short walk away.

A good, clean and quite modern hotel. The staff is friendly and are helpful. The rooms are okay in terms of size but the balcony is quite difficult to reach because of the low windows. Road noise is low on the upper level floors. The breakfast area is a bit small but there is a sufficient amount of food. The... More

A pleasant stay for a short trip in Moscow. Very centrally located, about 1km from the Kremlin. Room was big enough for two people, with decent free internet connection. A little disappointed with dinner service at lobby restaurant, with very few choices and bad service. Breakfast was also only modest but overall experience was good for the price. Front desk... The staff are very helpful on the desk..some of the bar staff and restuarant staff are too..some in the bar area were not. The food is average. Breakfast which is self... More

I have been staying at this hotel myltiple times during the last 7 years. The hotel is in good location, some 10 mon walk from Kremlin. Plenty of options to dine on Piatnickaya street not far away. Currently (finally) the hotels started offering free internet also in the rooms (earlier it was free only in the lobby). Breakfast is fine... More

Staying in Zamoskvorechye

Neighborhood Profile
Zamoskvorechye
It wouldn’t be a mistake to call Pyatnitskaya street the main axis of this neighborhood – turn one direction and you’ll find the Tretyakov Gallery in Lavrushinsky Lane, turn another – a hip Scandinavian restaurant. Old churches now embrace contemporary life with style and grace. Going to Zamoskvorechye is like visiting during the times when it was a medieval Russian quarter, but with a modern twist of 20th century buildings pushing themselves into the 21st century with new businesses opening weekly. Stroll down Pyatnitskaya to taste dozens of global cuisines – from Ukrainian and Georgian to Thai and American.
