Hotel Savoy is a clean hotel near the center, close to the river. Rooms are big and furniture is adequate with a desk, a small sofa and chairs. Rooms are targeted for business travelers, but the I could not find an electric socket for the laptop near the desk. How can you work a longer periods with a setup like... More

I stayed at hotel Savoy on a business trip and I must say that I really appreciated that they took me from the airport on a short notice (I called the reception the evening before my arrival) and they gave me my room key at 9:20. The room is big and nice but the furniture looks cheap. You get a... More

We were tourists and I think this hotel is suited more for business people. It was rather bland, with not visible features of the period it claims. The staff were pleasant, and breakfast was OK but the hot food was cold.

I first stayed in this hotel a few years ago when it was actually very new and i was impressed by the cleanliness and quality. Last weekend i decided to spend the night in Timisoara while traveling back home to Bucharest and remembered this hotel and decided to book again. I was a bit disappointed that nothing really changed since... More

I booked a last minute trip to Romania for the New Year, and decided upon the Savoy based on reviews. The hotel is located a short distance from the city center which is convenient, and breakfast is included in your stay. The rooms are supplied with the bare minimum. A flat sheet that doubles as a fitted, a thin coverlet,... More

This hotel could be very nice. However, there is no air conditioning in December, but the rooms get very warm. As a result, you have to sleep with the windows open which results in a drafty, noisy room. If you get up late in the morning, do not expect a warm shower. The bed was comfortable and firm. Hotel transportation... More

We are sorry that our hotel was not at the standard that you expected. Regarding you complains we have to make the following specification: - in December you will not find a hotel in Timisoara that has AC on (i have noticed that you complained about AC on other hotel to) - we are sorry that you had a problem... Renovated hotel near the city centre and historical sites. Good restaurant, nice room. Reception staff friendly and efficient, especially for arranging a packed lunch and receiving messages from colleagues. Hotel rather poorly lit but felt safe. Fitness room mentioned on website but I didnt find it.

The hotel îs well situated, near to the center, with clean warm room, some of them not so large and with rich breakfast. But in this hotel the personell didn't love school. There are some short boys working there, full of mucles with little brain who don't know how to talk with customers even when you told them that you... More

The Savoy Hotel's website says that its rooms have AC. My booking.com reservation said that my room would have AC. THE HOTEL LIED. It was 25 celsius outside, had been 25 the day before and would be 26 the day after and my room faced south, obviously I needed AC. When I went down to report that my AC didn't... More

Good Placement, fair price, good size of the room. Cleaning service was quick. You have a short walk over the Bridge and You are in the old city. There is a lot of construction work on the roads and a building close to the hotel so it can be a bit noisy.
