Perfectly situated in the city center near to nice pedestrian zone in the heart of Timisoara this hotel is all you need for a short stay... Clean nice small rooms... a bit kitschy interiors, basic breakfast, lack of toiletries (except two small soaps) but very helpful and friendly reception desk staff and good value for money...

- request a room with castle view, as I understood they are of a better quality - on the first night we had a twin room (as they were out of double rooms due to a technical issue): the twin beds are not very comfy as I had the feeling that it was moving with me when moving from one... More

We were guests in this hotel and apart all services offered which are very good, we found during night that our rooms communicate on the upper part because are isolated improperly with ceiling plates. I cannot say that all rooms have the sane issue but ours are on the list.

I spent 2 nights at the Hotel Central in Timisoara. I was very impressed by the location. It lives up to it's name. All 3 main squares are very close, even though the hotel is in a quiet street. The hotel overlooks the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant, with comfortable bed, free wi-fi,... More

Location is very good, practically in center of the town. The reception was modernized since my last visit (15 years ago), the rooms still need improvement. Very friendly staff at the reception, quite unprofessional service in the restaurant (which is closing at 22.00, so have that in mind if you arrive late). Overall a fair price and a place to... This old hotel's primary attractions are the inexpensive rates and the location, right off Piata Victoria. It has been slightly modernized in the lobby, but not so much elsewhere. Rooms are nothing to write home about; very small and basic, but clean. A bonus is the separate dining room for non-smokers. Breakfast was short-order style, and on the stingy side.... More

Location and reception are the main qualities. Room was average, clean,TV, fridge, heating, but bed was worn and the metal springs hurt my back. Breakfast at your choice: 5 items from a list (coffee+butter+jam is one item only) and bread as you please. You certainly won't feel hungry! Breakfast served from 07.30 am on, but during the weekends from 08.00... More

Only stayed here for one night so it's probably not great if you're staying more than that. The price is pretty reasonable but the decor could do with a serious overhaul and the A/C isn't the best. There may as well not be a hairdryer for all the good it does. Plus points are that it's in a very central... More

It is a very well located hotel, right in the heart of Timisoara. It has pretty small rooms and the bed just fits two adults and the mattress was uncomfortable (see very used). The hotel doesn't have its own parking and you have to pay for it (1 euro per hour, on weekdays, until 5 PM). Great view if you... More
