The basics of this hotel have deterioriated since I last was there. The rooms are very utliitarian - okay for the night before a flight. We were delighted, however, at the restaurant. The Confort otopeni is very well located next to the Otopeni Bucharest International Airport. It has airport- hotel transfer which is ideal for a country like Romania. When I checked in they said they were giving me an air conditioned room. When I complained 5 minutes later that it didn't work, they said most of their air conditioners were broken. It was about 100 degrees at 10:00 at night. They clearly didn't care. Brian - Calgary more
