We stayed at Casa Gia Pension because it was really close to my in-laws. We had a large room which had a king size bed and a foldaway bed. It had a private bathroom which was also large and had a great shower (great water pressure). The staff is a family and they go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. They offered us fresh raspberries from their yard and home made ice cream which was delicious, and homemade cake made with fresh sour cherries from their tree. The breakfast was awesome from the superb cappuccinos to the homemade omelettes, a big variety of cheeses, homemade zakuskas, cut tomatoes, bell peppers even salads. The bread was fresh every day and so flavorful. It was walking distance from stores and the pizza place downstairs. The market was nearby. Cabs and even Uber was readily available. It worked great for us. We will be back! …

My family and I stayed in this hotel several times because I think it is fantastic! It is a small family run hotel, which is located in a quiet neighborhood, not far from the city center. The owner is very friendly and sociable, she tries to make the stay of hers guests as comfortable as possible. I always stay in the "deluxe" room, it's a very large room equipped with every comfort and it makes you feel like at home. Very beautiful furniture with unique details. Comfortable beds. The bathroom is clean and very well. The whole hotel is very clean. The breakfast is very extensive and comprehensive of all, buffet, very abundant. Often the owner is baking homemade cakes, and they are really good! Outside the rooms there are many livable environments where you can relax. The line Wi-Fi takes everywhere. The price is enough fair for the service provided. I recommend it very much at all, suitable for every need!…

I stayed here 2 nights, between 31th december and 2nd january. It was really beautiful! Room was quite big, the bed was awesome, soft and confortable, bathroom was spacious and breakfast was really good. We had milk, cereals, coffee, tea, salads, fish, ham, cheese, jams, honey. It was really enough to start a wonderful new day! I enjoyed my stay at Gia Pension and I recommend this location. The only thing that i didn't really enjoy is the fact that this pension is a little bit far from the city center, but is a beautiful place!

A home away from home. Its a family run business. I've traveled alone and stayed there for 16 nights. Mrs. Laura, the owner, made me feel a family member . The room was large , deluxe, and super clean.

Casa Gia is the place to stay in Cluj. You are being received by a friendly smile and they do virtually anything to satisfy their customers without you ever feeling like a customer but like friend ! The cooking is great and breakfast rich. Being run by a family everybody does care and that makes a big difference ! I'll be back !

We had a pleasant stay here. Good clean rooms, big bathroom, basic breakfast. We were able to park the car inside and not leave it on the streets which was nice. For the price we paid (we bought a voucher for 250ron/2 nights) it was a good bargain, but I wouldn't pay the reception price - that is too expensive for the offering. Location: It is 4 or 5 bus stations to the city centre, and definitely not a walking distance. You have 2 restaurants close by - we tried the one just next to the "casa" and it was ok. Service: The host is ok and very helpful, but one morning she caught us for a chat while we were eating and wouldn't let go of the subject and let us continue our breakfast (while insisting on some topic that I am wrong - not very good for business to debate with a customer so strongly he is wrong, but anyways). Please note I marked it as "very good" by comparing the price we paid and the service we got.…

Stayed for 1 night while in transit at Casa Gia in Feb 2014. Room was large and the "deluxe" kind found in 4 stars hotels with quality furniture and had a good sleep tucked in crisp organic bed sheets . Breakfast was abundant and tasty (except the sausages). For 33E / night is a steal.

Casa Gia is a great place to stay in Cluj! I strongly recommend this pension. The patroness it's a great woman, she told us everything we've need, from where to eat to what to visit in Cluj. For sure, I appreciate this! I strongly recommend Casa Gia! Don't forget to visit the Old Town Center and also the Bocanical Garden. Cluj is one of the beautiful cities from Romania and for sure from Europe. All the best, Andrei
