We spent one night here in beautiful room overlooking Cayuga lake. The staff does everything conceivable to contribute to your comfort including delivering a basket with morning coffee accompanied by muffins before you get ready to descend to a full hot breakfast in the terraced restaurant lakeside. Service is friendly and relaxed. We also had dinner there-- a truly outstanding... More

My wife and I wanted a nice quick getaway. We live in a suburb of Buffalo NY , and it is about a 2 Hour drive. Arrived midweek, The accommodations were excellent. The bedroom had five beautiful windows overlooking the grounds and the lake and a wonderful fireplace. You were able to sit out on the 2nd floor veranda and... More

The entire property is impeccable and the service among the best anywhere. It's obvious that the staff have pride in their work and the property. The Inn has been lovingly restored and is very tastefully decorated with modern amenities. The two other buildings (EB Morgan and Rowland House) are also very tastefully decorated and outfitted with modern touches. The dining... More

This beautifully restored 19th-century hotel is a perfect destination for a one or two-night getaway. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, and the rooms are airy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Two rooms have both a fireplace and lakeside views-- we stayed in #4, which also had a large balcony (shared with next room) overlooking the lake. The bathroom was... More

Last week we spent three nights at the Aurora Inn and loved it. Beautiful, large room with balcony overlooking the lake. Friendly service. Frette linens and turn-down service with dark chocolates every night--pure luxury.

Best in the area to hold a wedding. If you would like to exchange vows by the lake side, opt for Aurora Inn! The food and the ambiance is very good. Your guests might also stake at the hotel. Morever, it is very tranquilizing to walk by the lakeside if you get up early in the morning!

This Inn is great and we had a nice family get together for a few days. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. But....poor air conditioning- the days we were there hot and the AC could not keep our room remotely cool. It is an old Inn, but we've stayed in equally old properties before without this being an issue.... More

We have been to the Aurora Inn many times but decided to try the new Rowland House sister of the other two properties. It is absolutely beautiful. The decorating is perfect with Pleasant Rowland's own art collection throughout this home. It sits directly on Cayuga Lake. We had a beautiful room with a view of the lake. Everything here is...
