From the outside, the hotel has maintained its grandeur looks with a nice facade and lighting at night. The lobby and restaurants seems to be well-maintained too. The rooms tell a very different story. Furnishings and carpets are run-down. Mini-fridge is rusty inside. The aircondition is old. Bath room is worse! Faucets and showers do not function very well. The... More

When you enter the hotel, the lights are very dim, the aircon is not cool enough, and you are greeted by an very old smell. We took a De Luxe room for 3,000 php; which was disappointing since none of their rooms had a king size bed (just a double and single bed). Then, the elevators where not working the... More

Usually when I travel to provinces I expect less from their hotels and restaurants. But hey! I was reminded it's already 20th century - all innovations and improvements are just a click away. I never thought I'd be in one of the best hotels in town. The staffs are accommodating, well trained and can also communicate in Tagalog and English.... More

My sister made a reservation two months prior to our arrival from the United States. When we arrived in Iloilo City on July 25, we went to confirm our reservation for July 29. They told us our reservation was no longer available since there were group reservations they had to prioritize over our stay that would only be for one... More

I stayed in the hotel when I joined a mass training for grade 10 teachers. There were many of us so the situation is a bit special. I was given a room number during the registration but when we arrived at the hotel, I was given a different room number. I don't know what went wrong that made them change... More

Sarabia is conveniently located within the city.Rooms are ok but it was better years ago (we stayed several times in the years 2011 and 2012).Good food still.Chef is readily available during breakfast to cook egg(s) the way you want it.Buffet has a selection of tasteful menus.Staff are nice. So far our stay was okey.

This used to be what I considered the top hotel in Iloilo. It is now sorely in need of renovation. The room that I got, while spacious, was unpleasantly dingy. Air conditioning was inadequate, and wifi was not working. Breakfast was edible but was nothing spectacular. Staff was ok but their low morale is evident, probably because of the poor... More

Sarabia is one of the oldest hotel in Iloilo, centrally located and since my last stay had refurbished some rooms already. But the staff on front desk is not firendly, maybe because the air conditioner is not cool. The elevator has been changed, but only one out of two. Room is big an antique style starting with the antique crt... More

Staff was very accommodating and it is easy access to the city. Affordable price and breakfast was good. Problem was with wifi. Not available inside the rooms. Just choose rooms in the 2nd or 4th floors. The third floor was very quiet but we didn't feel comfortable. It was creepy at night.
