If you just want to try Cebu beach without spending a night try day tour. We went there on a Saturday and we paid around 2k per pax. You may opt to deposit extra php500 for free use of their towels. The beach is beautiful with a portion of the sea cut by a sandbar so it felt like we... More

We live in Cebu and visited for the weekend. The food was very good, service was excellent. The lagoon area has virtually no fish so might as well swim as snorkel, really nothing to see but grass and a few very small fish. The beach is small but nice and there is an island you can swim to where you... More

Dear TCM952, Thanks for spending your weekend with us. It is nice to know that you liked our food, our beach and island and of course, our service. Aside from the small fishes, our lagoon is a home to baby sharks, too. We hope that you’re able to witness the shark feeding activity that happens every day at 4 in... More

Went there for a long weekend into one of the bungalow on the beach. Nice and clean the bungalow as well as the beach. They have a large range of activities available (with the local baywatch that was a pretty experienced tough salesman!) The water is pretty clean in the morning till lunch time due to high tide, unfortunately in... More

The beach can be clear and pretty at high tide (mornings to early afternoon). However the low-tide reveals plenty of jellyfish, seaweed and sea urchins lurking in the seawood. The pool gets murky in the afternoon. Shower area is very dirty. Area around the pool gets filled with falling leaves and the staff do nothing about it. Really is too... More

Dear Jerry D, We are glad to know that you find Bluewater Maribago’s overall look beautiful. We also believe that one of the factors that contributed to our resort’s beauty is the presence of trees all over our property including near the swimming pools. While our dedicated staff always make sure that our swimming pools are clean, we can never... More

Stayed five days in Bluewater Maribago in Amuma Spa Suite - room is a bit dated with cupboards asking for retirement, bathroom is nicely arranged with a lot of space, but again few bits need replacement. Aircon was great, with quiet mode available. Pool (one of three) is fine for refreshing swim. But I do personally prefered the one in... More

1.) The rooms are poorly air conditioned even at a pricey room like Amuma, where the water is dripping from the air condition and if you cannot notice the wet floor, it can cause you a butt landing. 2.) Terrible happened during the transport of my bag from the room to the car. (We had a lot of bags due... More

Dear Socorro F, We are deeply concerned about the incident that happened during your stay with us. Admittedly some lapses in service were committed and appropriate actions were taken in order to correct this perceived shortcoming in our part. We have always prided in the mantra that Our People is our brand and in fact if you read the comments... More

Very clean rooms, friendly staff. Happy hour coctails at the beach bar was tasty and the bar staff was awsome! Order your room with breakfast, you want regret - they have everything! Go there, relax and enjoy the pools, the beach and the warm people. Theres a a lot of restaurants nearby, so dont stay in all the time...

Aging rooms, stiff atmosphere. Not really any adult pool. Swimming area in ocean shallow and look out for sea urchins. Drink and food prices outrageous !!!!! Maribago Grill across main road and to the right. Must go !!! See review.

I booked my vacation for holyweek april1-4 2015 a month before my trip. I booked two amumma rooms which are not cheap especially during this peak season and they even charged me a peak season rate fee. Upon arriving at the resort they made me wait for 45mins for my rooms and they were giving me a cheaper room which... More
