Nothing can describe their excellent customer service, from picking us, going to our room, serving our foo d, drinks and even servicing our needs in the pool all the way from dropping us back in the city -- had great time, great food and very comfortable atmosphere -- will definitely go back here again

Spent a couple of days at Abaca and I must say, we were VERY impressed by the service! The pickup to the hotel was a nice comfortable ride - a very warm welcome. As the gates opened to the resort, we saw a line of staff waiting patiently to greet us. They all knew us by name and we were... More

Every year I visit Cebu with my wife and 2 daughters. In 2013 I ate at Maya a Mexican resto at Crossroads and the manager told me they also had a resort. I didn't mind it at first but looking for a place to relax for our 2014 visit we decided to try Abaca. We didn't have that much expectations... More

It is hard to add further positive comments to the ones already shared in other previous reviews, but this place and its staff really deserve to be awarded! Our stay in Abaca was quite long (7 days) and at the end we really felt like part of the family. Overall comments are: Rooms: immaculate, specious and homey. Service & Butlers:... More

We stayed here in November, just after the Typhoon. From start to finish our stay was complete perfection. The head butler Raffy and his team are amazing, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Throughout our stay the staff were constantly attentive, friendly, cheerful and helpful. Service is incredible, and despite the fact there is always someone near at... More

Incredible staff here. I am very impressed with this small but beautiful resort. Abaca only has 9 rooms but they are HUGE - bigger than apartments in my hometown! This is a great place to disappear and do absolutely nothing. Days to just lounge around, sleep, tan and go island hopping! For the rates you pay, this intimate resort is... More

My husband I have have spent some of our fondest memories here. In fact, in April 2011, we had the most beautiful wedding because it's such a special place. What makes Abaca special: 1. Personal and impecable service - They know your needs even before you do. And it starts from the General Manager, Glenn Ylanan who treats his guests... More

From start to finish Abaca really shows off its quality. The rooms are fantastic we stayed in both the standard room and also got upgraded to a villa which was savage. Staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried they will literally do any thing for you just ask. They made a big fuss over us as it as our... More

Abaca is a boutique resort that matches luxury with extraordinary service. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Not only is the resort five star, with lap pools in some rooms, huge villas, and beautiful styling, but the staff welcome you with a smile at any hour of the day. We travelled there with 2 kids, and my... More
