I've been to this hotel for a meeting every week. The conference rooms are affordable. The building is old but it's worth your money. The staff are courteous and approachable. The location is accessible by jeepneys plying F Ramos St. If you are going/coming to/from Ayala, you can ride 14D. If from IT Park, you can ride 17C or 4C... More

This is my second trip back to The Diplomat and I will start with the main and most impotant positive. It is EXCEPTIONAL value. As usual, the staff were able and effective and the rooms were adequate given how much they cost (approximately 1000peso per night) but i have to admit that this time i notice a fair amount of... First night in the Philippines and it was the right choice! The hotel is not directly in the city centre (but you only need 10 minutes with a jeepney), really clean and comfortable and all the staff members are SO nice and helpful! Near the hotel there are restaurants and shops, and to chill out in the evening you have... More

We stay here when we need to stay 1 night in Cebu City, usually because we are flying in or out of the airport. The rooms are comfortable and clean, for the most part. They REALLY need to repaint, replaster the hallways and rooms. The furniture needs updating. Actually, everything needs updating. The bathrooms are dingy, but work fine. I... More

pros: located in ramos st., its runs parallel to osmena blvd.t is the only hotel which offers a no-sweat wedding package. it ranges from civil weddings costing 50K to elaborate ones more than 100K. it is near velez hospital and cebu institute of medicine, and a film school-bigfoot. 24 hr store near it is 7 eleven. and banks near it... It still amazes me that for 1000peso you can stay in a decent room at the Diplomat. I will admit that if you look too closely then you will be able to start picking holes in it and i do agree that it could do with a bit of TLC here and there but, like i said, for the amount... More

What I thought where the Hotel excelled was in its service staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The restaurant has fairly good food. The location is little far to walk to Santo Nino church and you will need a taxi to hit Ayala Mall. Mango street is around the corner so that is a bonus if your out to have... More

We definitely love this hotel. The staff are awesome and accommodating. they go out of their way to assist theirs guests. We stayed here as a second home for my sisters wedding. the price that we paid is reasonable. The location is just in the heart of the city.
