Quite a contrast between the rooms on offer, the first time I stayed here the room was clean, well presented and decorated. The second time I stayed the room was a little run down but the AC unit was so noisy it felt like I was sleeping in a bus station. This time there was paint peeling from the walls... More

I've been to this hotel for a meeting every week. The conference rooms are affordable. The building is old but it's worth your money. The staff are courteous and approachable. The location is accessible by jeepneys plying F Ramos St. If you are going/coming to/from Ayala, you can ride 14D. If from IT Park, you can ride 17C or 4C... More

This is my second trip back to The Diplomat and I will start with the main and most impotant positive. It is EXCEPTIONAL value. As usual, the staff were able and effective and the rooms were adequate given how much they cost (approximately 1000peso per night) but i have to admit that this time i notice a fair amount of... First night in the Philippines and it was the right choice! The hotel is not directly in the city centre (but you only need 10 minutes with a jeepney), really clean and comfortable and all the staff members are SO nice and helpful! Near the hotel there are restaurants and shops, and to chill out in the evening you have... More

We stay here when we need to stay 1 night in Cebu City, usually because we are flying in or out of the airport. The rooms are comfortable and clean, for the most part. They REALLY need to repaint, replaster the hallways and rooms. The furniture needs updating. Actually, everything needs updating. The bathrooms are dingy, but work fine. I... More
