Stayed one night at Holiday Plaza during a motorcycle tour around Cebu and Negros. No complaints: price was right, staff eagerly let us park in secure underground parking, and shower, internet, wakeup calls worked without a hitch. Close to bars and nightlife as well. Saw many worse hotels along the way. more

My wife & I stayed here for a Christmas vacation to visit our family. The first thing we wanted to do after a long flight, was to take a nice, relaxing shower. To our dismay, the shower was a disgrace!!! It's OK to go green, but the towels had holes in them. Don't the hotel guests deserve decent towels? We... more

I am a government physician and I went to Cebu City for a 1 week training. The NGO which sponsored our accomodations booked us in this hotel. The location is good, very accessible by taxi or jeepney or private vehicles. The staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast had a wide selection, but if you stay here for several days and... more

This stay was in May of 2008. I stayed here the first time in November of 2004 and had a better experience. Things have gone down hill since then, both with the hotel itself and the area surrounding the hotel. First off, let me say that a lot of my issues had to do with the condition of our rooms.... more

The Hotel was awesome by all means- Location, Service and all other stuff..The bad thing is that the lobby was not that spacious. I stayed at a deluxe room with my brother and we had a great time..The hotel was also near a shopping center where we could buy things and eat.Overall, I rate it 4 out of 5. more

Good location, a few steps from Fuente Osmena. rooms kind of basic but very clean with the stuff you need i.e. minibar, cable tv, working and sitting area. Staff very helpful and warm, especially to repeating customers. Restaurant dining and breakfast nothing special but plentyful. A good deal is the rooftop garden with nice views and a decent good priced... more

I have been to Cebu over 10 times so far and I cannot find a better hotel to stay at for travelers that are on a budget. Every one of the employees that I have had to deal with here have been exceptionally polite and professional. The food at the restaraunt downstairs is excellent as is the rooftop restaraunt. Make... more

This is my second time to stay in this hotel and I was not so happy as my first time. Reasons - I booked for a Business Class Room (my first time I had Deluxe) thinking it would be better than a Deluxe room but it was a failure. Room is small, and the internet access was not working in... more

I have stayed at The Holiday Plaza hotel three times and must say it is the best value I have found in Cebu. Friendly people, comfortable rooms, great area, good food, and a very fair price. Be sure to visit the rooftop Barbeque!!! more
