The hotel, restaurants and casino can all be described as "average". It's really nothing special, but also nothing really to complain about except for the internet that never works.. I just think for the price there are many better places to stay.

Althoug still very magistic and pretty well maintained, the rooms need a complete renovation. The faded colour that once was prestigeous brown at this moment became depressing dark and cry for a full refresh. The public areas (lobby, shop, etc) are renewed a few years ago and still very inviting, as well as the restaurants. The food-quality and the wide... More

Wow, these guys seriously need to renovate. The rooms are atrocious. I have no idea why they are not renovating these rooms! the restaruants there are good, however. But I really cant recommend staying there.

At the Waterfront Hotel & Casino, you pay a 5-star price but get a 1-star service. This would have to be one of the most disappointing hotels in the Philippines. And I have travelled a lot in this country. The hotel building is generally ok, and the rooms are reasonably appointed. The real trouble is their working procedures and customer... More

Our company had a function in this hotel and I was fortunate to be upgraded to an executive suite; instead of a deluxe room (they were fully booked). The suite was comprised of two rooms of equal size. The first one had a dining table for four and a sofa and a working table with a monitor with built in... More

The hotel is one of the biggest and most central in the city which is why it's a popular venue for conventions, weddings and other big gatherings. It has its own casino within its premises, and it's just 5-10 mins by car away from the Ayala-built mall and business park. The breakfast buffet at Cafe Uno has a wide spread... More

The rooms are outdated. The carpet is old and dusty. The washrooms in my standard room was very small. Cant comment on the casino since i dont gamble. One thing i do love about this place though is one of their restaurant - The Port. The buffet setup is awesome. I like all the food that they serve except for... More

The Waterfront should be the landmark hotel for Cebu but unfortunately the quality of service and food has declined steadily over recent years. We have stayed there regularly over the last 10 years and this last visit will probably be our last. This hotel has the grandeur that no other hotel in Cebu has but is let down by falling... More

We stayed for one night at the Waterfront Hotel which certainly made a grand impression upon arrival - they have a guard dog to sniff bags at the entrance and a metal detector for guests to walk through, so security was high which made me feel very safe. Our bags were taken immediately by the porters on arrival and the... More
