My first time in the Philippines and when I was staying here I didnt like it and wanted to leave the country, this was based on me travelling alone and not feeling safe in the area although to be fair I didnt have any problems. First the bad things about the hotel, the room itself although a little tired was... More

I've visited this hotel several times since 2010 and it has undergone a great improvement. The rooms are clean and well maintained, good facilities, very helpful staff. It's not a luxury hotel, it's a functional base for your stay in Cebu. There are usually taxis outside so transport links are good. But the one thing that surprised me most was... More

It's not a cheap hotel and it's not an expensive hotel. We found the room and amenities to be small and few. We've stayed at many hotels in Cebu and The Golden Prince room and furniture were the same as the very low priced hotels. For amenities we got two small soaps, two small shampoos, two small bottles of water,... More

We've stayed with this hotel a number of times over the years. It is walking distance to Ayala Mall and a short drive away from the city center. Guests can also park at the basement. Hotel is a little bit dated, but nevertheless functional and clean. But then again, with the location and basics provided (breakfast, wifi, kitchenette) at the... More

We booked a Studio Suite for a 3d/2n stay. We got it for half the price and we definitely got our money's worth for it. Although the room was a bit outdated, it was very functional. It had a ref and a mini kitchen so the left overs we had from our food trips we could reheat for midnight snacks... More

I've stayed here since this was the venue of our workshop. Since it was organized by an international agency, I was expecting a nice hotel with good food. Unfortunately, Golden Prince is more of a hostel than a hotel. I had a lower back pain the day I flew to Cebu, I did not want to carry my luggage so... More

This hotel which is a stone's throw away from the Ayala Mall is wonderful example of value for money! Super clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice sheets and towels. Good internet connectivity all around the hotel. Good breakfast spread with egg station. Wonderful coffee, breads and pastries. I believe one of the best 'halo-halo' (Filipino dessert of mixed fruits in crushed... More

Only stayed for one night due to a late flight. But i got a great deal that was cheaper than the others in the area only because i searched online and got a huge discount. The room was very nice and of big size. No complaints at all.

We stay here for 2 nights for the celebration of Sinulog festival 2014. Our room is well furnished and tidy. The only main downside of this hotel is the 24 hours construction that happens beside i'ts premises. They have friendly and accommodating staffs. There breakfast buffet is descent and has a lot of variety to choose from. The chef can... More

This doesn't happen to a lot of hotels but in case you’re late checking in they SMS to confirm if you’re arriving. Standard rooms are big. Floors are tiled, electronic key card for doors, a fridge, complimentary water and toiletries except toothbrush & paste. The room i stayed is equipped with microwave, electric kettle and cups, saucers and teaspoons. also... More
