I stayed here 2 days it's really good for the backpackers it's cheap. Staff are friendly, they takes good care the guests. The room is clean and fully air-condition. But only thing is the bathroom heater wasn't work, but it's clean anyway. I would definitely recommend this to my friends who likes to stay a simple trips in cebu.

my first stay here was 2 years ago... http://www.tripadvisor.com.ph/ShowUserReviews-g298460-d1235971-r180438909-Sugbutel_Bed_Bath-Cebu_City_Cebu_Island_Visayas.html and i checked in again last week. I must say, there are a lot of improvements! there's an added elevator, a canteen, better wifi, Sinulog booth at the corner of the lobby, more vending machines. the staff are sooo accommodating. I constantly ask them for directions and what multicab to ride... More

I was half regretting my decision to book Sugbutel - I was dreading sleeping in a massive dorm with people coming and going and not getting any sleep. I couldn't have been more wrong. The dorm was completely silent, well air-conditioned and I slept fine. For a few nights, this place is ideal. You have to pay extra for linen... More

January's here, and first thing comes into my mind is Sinulog (Feast Day of Sr. Sto. Niño) aside from my birthday of course, hehe! It's my 2nd time to stay in Sugbutel, and all I can say is their service improved from 2yrs.ago, tho they don't offer any welcome drinks or pastries, the staffs are well accommodating. We rented their... More

I'm a familiar face to the senior staff in Sugbutel since I come back once a year and stay for a night up to a few weeks. Very friendly staff, they greet you every time you pass by. Beds are bunk beds in a very large room, all the beds are in the same spacious room. But you still get... More

I stayed two times there. Location is not too far from airport and is next to the ferry pier, 5 min walking you could find the biggest shopping mall in the city, there is the only place to eat or shopping around the hotel. Room is full with almost 50 beds, sound freaky but after all was nice.. as i... More

I arrived at the hotel early in the morning and I just wanted to leave my things there. On the other hand, the hotel receptionist was friendly enough (wasn't able to remember her name) to assist me with my check-in. They let me to get in at 09:30 am in the morning. I read some reviews and they complain about... More

I found Sugbutel Family Hotel great for sea travelers to Cebu. Last September 4, 2014, I was not able to catch my boat for Cagayan de Oro and had to find a place nearby, secured, comfortable and low-budget. I walked to and checked in at Sugbutel Family Hotel near Pier 4 which I noticed on my earlier trips to Cebu.... More
