I arrived in Cebu with my girlfriend and followed the recommandation of the Lonely planet. The guy from the réception gave us a room which was basic. We just wanted to have a nap because of the exhausting travel. Five minutes later, a couple of workers started to rebuild the corridor just in front of our room. It was so... More

The hotel is clean with very friendly and helpful staff. However compared to other international youth hotel, there is little ambiance and social exchange. The kitchen isn't recommended as food are deep fried..

Mayflower has is a very calming place. If you come in from the sometimes busy streets of Cebu, it is nice to chill out in the restaurant or the garden. The staff is very accomodating and you can fill a bottle of water for free. They argue people buy to much plastic bottles, in this way they contribute by reducing... More

My office-mate led me to this hotel and I was surprised by how this hotel was conceptualized. Building design is designed to save electricity and everything is environmental friendly, they seldom use plastic in everything. The rooms were nice and affordable. Majority of the employees are friendly and hospitable. I will certainty go back to this hotel.

I'm giving it 5 stars considering the cost 850 peso (single) or 1150 (twin) Rooms are basic but have always been very clean, single beds often, no fat duvet but who needs one. Rooms are decent size, good aircon, TV and cable, internet is ok, not blistering. The staff have always been friendly to me but I've never made any... More

Good value rooms for the price with A/C, decent bathroom, TV (with BBC, CNN etc), good wi-fi and helpful staff. Rooms could have benefitted from a fridge and kettle but otherwise really good. Definitely our hotel of choice in Cebu.

I love this place. We stayed here coming from another hotel to complete the rest of our stay in Cebu. I love the hotel. Lots of books. Piano bar at the entertainment area. But I observed that the room has a weird smell. The linens were also old. The location is far from the commuting area. But the room is... More

Do not stay at this hotel. Owner, old lady with white hair and their staff are unfriendly and not customer oriented, Room is unsanitised and there was a small rat in the room. staff needs more training. if you like to bring in a companion or associated up to tje room then do not stay at this hotel.

This is small, basic hotel with charm. The rooms are clean, the beds good and shower fine. We stayed here two nights while my wife had a fever and spend most of the time in bed. Our two sons were never bored though because there was a lot of games for the kids to play with. The food in the... More
