Everithing is old and dirty. The location is not so good and it's very noisy, but Cebu City IS noisy. Maybe the price is average, but we guess you can find a better place for the money you spend here.

For a few nights stay this is a nice place, rooms are okay, bathroon inside the room and wifi which works pretty good. Luggage room so I could leave my stuff there and went for overnight trips around the island with the only things I needed for a few nights. Cebu city is nothing to stay for though.

We had to spend a night in town as we were flying out in the very early morning. 625 Pesos for a double seemed okay, but the room was really bad. dirty, rundown, no window - just a bed. the shared bathroom was the same - old and dirty. we´ve been in the Philippines for 6 weeks and were travelling... After more then a year traveling asia on a tight budget, this must be the worst guesthouse we visited. We're ok with old, bad neighborhood, bad location, unfriendly staff. But when cockroaches bump into you when you leave your room in the evening and you even find some in your room. That crosses a line. It gets worse if the... More

Stayed there last February, found it was one of the cheapest dorms and I was travelling on a budget. We stayed on the second floor with the private bathroom and I think it was the best decision because the common toilet is not that clean. Well don't expect much as you that's how much you paid for. In terms of... More

I stayed there as it was one of the cheapest dorms and i had to catch a flight the day after from Cebu Airport.. the only good thing is the staff, very helpful and kind but the place was very dirty and security non existent. Yes they have lockers in the room but the main door doesn't close at night.... More

I selected this place due to its roadside location where the Sinulog mardi gras passes by each year. Alas its location is one of the best asset of this property. Don’t expect too much though since this is like a hostel or backpackers haven. Don’t expect 5 star lobby, extravagant seats and posh furniture. The truth is the place is... More

I had an amazing stay at Cebu Guesthouse. The staff was really friendly and helpful, rooms and bathrooms were clean and cozy, sleeping area was quiet, and they provide lockers so long as you bring your own padlock (which is an essential piece of equipment if you are backpacking). The hostel is located on Mango St. which is a pretty... More

This is the second time that I have ever encountered a place like this. My family and I were hoping that we could spend time together and truly explore Cebu City and be able to get a good night's sleep at a place that cost not much. When we checked in the hotel, I knew it would be a bad... More

Checked in January 13 and stayed until the 16th only because i didn't know where to stay in Cebu City. Was travelling on a budget but should not be an excuse for such quality.. I was placed originally on room E at the ground floor near the kitchen and laundry area.. a small cramped room with the door lock which... More
