Forget the well-lit sunny photos you see! This is a really unpleasant place to stay - even for 1 night, even for a cheap-ish rate, EVEN if you think "I don't mind roughing it". Some highlights: - The extra bed we paid for as a 3-person group was just a cardboard thin mattress to go on the floor which, as... More

I had actually booked at a nearby hotel but due to internet failure they had overbooked. They accomadated us in the nearest hotel that is the same price as theirs. Theirs is clean, modern and tidy. But this place is horrid. I suspect the sheets were not changed and the floor was unswept. The shower was a trickle and the bathroom... More

I needed a place for just one night before a flight out of Cebu, and thank god. Aside from the fact that the city itself isn't great, this guesthouse was pretty awful. I stayed the night in the female dorm. Though the room was big, it looked like it hadn't been really cleaned in years. Bathroom as well. In the... More

i know that place is one of the "cheapest" for cebu, but it's not worth your money. it was ugly, dirty and we were actually trying to stay the less we could in the room. when we were going to sleep, one of the picture on the wall fell, and we discovered a big hole to the street.

I made a reservation with this hotel last January 2015. But when i saw the room, there's no way im gonna stay for at least a couple of hours in this inn. I havent gotten a way better pension house for their price. The room given to us was small for 2pax and dirty. Please, dont waste your time coming... More

There was mildew everywhere. Bad smell in the room. The Shower is big, but full of mildew. They did not give us any discount after complaining. The pictures in the internet look nice, but in real life everything is overused and you see, that they do not care about atmosphere, cleaness, decoration, etc. location is ok. easy reachable and just... I am afraid there was nothing good about this place. The bedroom was dirty and horrible. The bathroom was not even a bathroom (the one upstairs) it was disgusting. The staff checked us in, but did not really care to give us any information. Luckily for us, we came late and had to leave early the next day. Cebu is... More

I understand that guesthouses and hostels are not always the most comfortable places because you pretty much get what you pay for. But I enjoy them because the shortcomings are usually made up for by good service and the people you meet during your stay. That was not the case for Cebu Guesthouse. The staff was generally unwelcoming, uninterested, uninformed,... More

First the positives: It's cheap at P500 for a private, double, fan room with shared bathroom. Small but comfortable enough, although stifling (even early Dec). Location wise it's ok, you can get pretty much anywhere by local jeepneys, which will only cost P8 per journey. Negatives: The staff are quite dismissive and don't seem to be that bothered about guests. Don't... More

For all the reviews saying "you get what you pay for" there are other places in cebu that will give you more for the same price. This hotel was dilapidated, smelled like urine, had an entirely damp feeling to it, seemed unsafe even though there were locks on the door and had a not very helpful staff. We came during... More
