Being centrally located is good, Friends can come visit and all. But after all the pleasantries of meeting with family and friends are gone, what will happen next? Breakfast was bad, to think davao has the best pomelo and also known for mangoes, they selved the most sour mangoes and pomelos. The ROOM, so dusty, 17th floor, nice view but... more

Spent three nights here with my wife recently and we very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a great central location with the main tourist shopping area directly across the road and other large malls within walking distance. The hotel itself is modern with nice dining facilities and comfortable rooms which have good city views. The hotel has a... more

Very impressed overall with the hotel. Comparable to other 5 star hotels in Japan and Hong Kong. Staff are smartly attired and always have a smile on their face. Rooms are nice and clean. Ours had view of sea. The spa was great and one of the best we have ever experienced so far. Over all, if in Davao, its... more

I didn't stay here but went to their Lazuli Spa to relax, get a massage and generally let the hours pass before my super delayed flight back to Manila. Loved the ambience! The treatment room was fantastic. I super loved everything about it. And the massage is truly one of the best I've had (and I am a spa-holic so... more

The Marco Polo is the most expensive hotel in Davao. It is however luxurious. The staff is wonderful. They were always helpful, polite and courteous. The hotel has an amazing lobby and the piano lounge was nice. Breakfast was wonderful. The pool was great and the massages were absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. more

Stayed here overnight during a business trip so I did not have much time to experience the entire property. The room was comfortable and had nice flat screen TV with lots of channels to choose from. Internet access requires you asking the front desk for a special login/password card. I had dinner at the restaurant with the poolside view and... more

I stayed recently at the Marco Polo Davao as part of an organizing team handling an event. Unfortunately I just stayed only overnight. What can I say about the hotel? It was marvelous! My room was very comfortable and the air-con is how I like it: FREEZING COLD! The room has complete amenities with a new and modern LCD TV.... more

Marco Polo Davao doesn't have any idea about business people's needs and confereces. Staff support level for anything to do with business conference is almost none. I attended a two day conference and stayed at Marco Polo Davao June 2008. As an accommodation, it was ok, nothing special, but, the swimming pool and the gym were good. However, for the... more
