The place is very soothing and very big. The time we arrived, we took pictures and went to the church-museum. Too bad it's not allowed to take pictures inside but the antique and vintage items inside are very interesting. We then rode on a cart with a carabao (you can also ride a big truck if you have lots of... More

We were greeted by women wearing the traditional outfit. You pay first before you enter then we made our way to the cathedral which they turned into a museum. After that, we hopped on a wagon which looked like an extended golf cart. The wagon is pulled by a carabao (water buffalo) while the singer & her guitarist sing folk... More

A very nice place to relax. This is not a modern hotel, people come to this place to actually feel and experience old Filipino culture. The Carabao ride is great. The lunch at the waterfalls is also a nice experience. But don't expect too much from the food. Remember this is traditional Filipino. No steak nor western food here. All... More

Great food by the waterfalls, just a bit hot, eat with your bare hands than with utensils. Carabao ride is a nice experience. Too bad we missed the cultural dance show. Too many things to do and see. Have to check it out yourself and try everything.

Huge place! Carabao ride was new for us. Greeted us with "haranas". Waterfall resto was refreshing. Food was awesome (they should label their vinegar because Mom thought it was soup!). The best part was the museum! Talk about grandiosity of Don Escudero. What a history! Would definitely come back. Ask for a Senior Citizen discount! The downer... no wifi ;(

We had an extra day, so we booked this tour thru Filipino Travel thinking we were just filling in an open day. Although the resort had just survived a typhoon and many trees were down, the time there was most enjoyable. Lunch was great, the waterfall was beautiful and the coconut tree climb demo and prep of coconut milk was... More

Our family of 3 adults and 3 kids decided to stay overnight at Villa Escudero in summer of 2013. It was very accessible to public transportation. We took the bus, and got off at the tricycle terminal (along the highway) going to Villa Escudero. Each tricycle is PhP50 to the reception hut, where we were given cold gulaman drink while... More

Our company outing and teambuilding was held at Villa Escudero. For some reasons, they decided our very large group (more than a thousand) will be accommodated well in the resort. I've been meaning to visit this hacienda famous for its man-made lake and falls where you can dine at the foot of the falls while your feet touch the cool... More

Come here to have lunch at the waterfalls. The food is not that great, but the experience is. After lunch, watch a cultural show (featuring the employees of Villa Escudero) and ride a bamboo raft at the tranquil Labasin Lake. The day tour fee is quite steep at PhP 1,400 per person.
