Been here twice already and before we go too far for a family outing, I thought of coming back with my family. We had overnight accommodation and our river unit was well worth our stay. It was really a one of a kind experience. My kids and mom were in awe in every turn of event from the time we... More

We toured the Villa Escudero with family, saw the little known and very incredible museum, watched the cultural dances and ate at the Waterfall Restaurant--one of a kind experience. We have ate at many restaurants the world over and will have to say this is definitely a one of a kind experience and recommended for everyone!

Went here with a couple of visitors for the Filipino province experience and it did not disappoint. We went on a Monday so there weren't a lot of people. Was greeted with a glass of gulaman at the reception. Carabao ride coupled with the harana was a nice touch. Was supposed to have buffet lunch at the waterfalls but it... More

Villa Escudero was able to maintain it's lot for many years. I remember visiting the place 20 yrs ago and surprisingly it still has that touch of Filipino Culture. Kudos to the family who own the Villa. As a Filipino, I appreciate how they collected artifacts from different generations of Philippine History.

We were greeted by women wearing the traditional outfit. You pay first before you enter then we made our way to the cathedral which they turned into a museum. After that, we hopped on a wagon which looked like an extended golf cart. The wagon is pulled by a carabao (water buffalo) while the singer & her guitarist sing folk... More

A very nice place to relax. This is not a modern hotel, people come to this place to actually feel and experience old Filipino culture. The Carabao ride is great. The lunch at the waterfalls is also a nice experience. But don't expect too much from the food. Remember this is traditional Filipino. No steak nor western food here. All... More

Great food by the waterfalls, just a bit hot, eat with your bare hands than with utensils. Carabao ride is a nice experience. Too bad we missed the cultural dance show. Too many things to do and see. Have to check it out yourself and try everything.

Huge place! Carabao ride was new for us. Greeted us with "haranas". Waterfall resto was refreshing. Food was awesome (they should label their vinegar because Mom thought it was soup!). The best part was the museum! Talk about grandiosity of Don Escudero. What a history! Would definitely come back. Ask for a Senior Citizen discount! The downer... no wifi ;(

We had an extra day, so we booked this tour thru Filipino Travel thinking we were just filling in an open day. Although the resort had just survived a typhoon and many trees were down, the time there was most enjoyable. Lunch was great, the waterfall was beautiful and the coconut tree climb demo and prep of coconut milk was... More
