I admit, i opted for Malayan because i got a good rate, and i thought, with an average review of 7.7 it should be fine. I was wrong. The Malayan is not meant for international travelers. The majority of their guests are local, so they cater to their needs. The buffet breakfast focuses on local fare, they serve pumpkin soup... More

A week before our stay we had a bad hotel experience. So I lowered my expectation so as not to be disappointed. But it turned to be a pleasant, relaxing and comfortable stay. I initially booked a Studio Superior room but was then upgraded to Superior Twin Deluxe free of charge. The room is really spacious. With a little kitchen... More

I had an event Last November for the Baptismal of my daugther. With the wonderful help and assistance of Ms. Jackie, the event was succesful. She gave me the details on how, where and what are my options were for the event and where is the place to held it with. Every thing went well aside from when I was... More

Didn't know what to expect, but turned out to be more comfortable and relaxing than expected! Stayed over a week at this hotel; SM, Robinson's, and Podium all within walking distance, which was excellent. For the location, really good price. Beds were surprisingly comfortable :) except there was some problems with the air conditioning. Overall, liked this hotel and would... More

Me and my friends checked in here for a staycation weekend! The room was clean and spacious and with balcony for smokers. The location of the hotel is very accessible. There's a restaurant at the ground floor (Pancake House) and 7-11 and The Podium are just a few steps away from the hotel. They give 1 free parking slot per... More

I stayed here for 2 weeks as it is within walking distance of the office in Ortigas in April/May. Initially, my room was dark, and the decor dated, and there was a mix up that resulted in me having a room with two singles instead of a queen. On the plus side there was a balcony with a view and... I was long staying guest in this hotel, good thing: very close to my work station, nice room service and fast reply from service. room size is good and infrastructure is quiete well.. For breakfast it is average as they really don't have much variety and sometime I found compromise in food quality.. hotel need to improve on food quality.

we booked and prepaid for 5 nights and left after the second night. breakfast was inedible. shower wasn't hot. our room was near the elevator so we'd hear the bell go off every now and then. uncomfortable bed. paint was peeling off the bathroom walls. the room and bathroom was very dimly lit so made it hard to see, let...
