always a good stay in this hotel. I'd been doing this for the last 6 years. i go to the Philippines every year and I make it a habit to stay a couple of days before and after going to the province. Breakfast is always the big sell for this hotel. other factors are proximity to Baclaran's church, (INC and... More

As what their logo is, the 1st Balikbayan Hotel. It maybe was - needs a complete refurbishment though the rooms are really BIG (which I enjoyed so much since we are a family of 4). I like the big space for the wardrobe area which is also located seperately. Toilets needs to be refurbish. Needs to add more dishes for... More

My husband arranged that we get picked up from the airport and one of the staff was there on time and with no problems. The room we stayed in was deluxe and it was clean and has homey feel to it. Timber floor. Breakfast was good. Variety of food and staff were more than happy to assist and genuinely accommodating.... More

We spent one night at this hotel for a long night layover between flights. This is an overpriced mediocre hotel, which is just ok for a short stay. Water heater broke down during our stay and could not be repaired, so we had to shower in cold water. The aircon and the TV set are both ancient. The aircon is... More

Breakfast was great with variety of food to choose from. The price is affordable The room was spacious for couple or even for a family. The only issue was there were no windows. For someone who is claustrophobic, this might be a problem otherwise its fine.

Roadworks mean not as quick from airport at present. Rooms OK but nothing special, our one was very dark, window onto heating vent. Housekeeping good and meals OK. Central location to Mall of Asia and public transport. Some people comment on dodgy area but we did not find this the case. Good swimming pool.

Hotel was not easy to find! When I arrived, security person assisted with luggage and advised of parking location. Staff at desk, were friendly and accommodating. Area appears rough, do not wander around alone there! Room was clean, however A/C was intermittent operation and shower door did not close! Limited TV channels on older TV set. Only purpose of stay... More

This hotel looks very close, but for the next three years terminal 3 is under construction so it took 15 to 25 min to arrive from the airport. Staff was friendly, rooms are dated, a bit dark, noisy window ac. Staff called and woke me at 3am to ask why my travel companion was checking out, even though we told... More

Travelling as a family of 5 always has its challenges ..... Hotels without adequate facilities, or unreasonable extra bed charges come to mind ... However, if you are travelling thru MNL with a family, this is a really, really solid choice. We had a room with 3 double beds ... Lotsa room for the kiddies. On arrival, our free transfer... More

In a firs trip to Manilla, I thought I would save a few dollars while staying "close" to the airport o the way back. There was nothing wrong with this hotel and the staff was quite friendly and helpful. This is more of an ethnic Indian owned facility. The room was actually a suite with an upstairs and downstairs. The... More
