It is close to all 4 Manila airport terminals. There are a lot of restaurants close by. The MOA is a short jeepney ride away. Baclaran Church is a must see near the Manor. The charge for an extra guest, though, was excessive. I would have gotten a second room.

We booked (or rather - thought we did) a family room for 2 nights. Ends up when we arrived, they had only booked us for 1 night. Hardly any support in that case, just the push to get going paying the airport transfer. Finally offered us to stay one night there, then transfer to another of their properties for the... More

This was a pleasant surprise. It's not the greatest hotel in the world but it has a lot of charm. Bed was little firm but it wasn't bad. It was located close to the airport (pretty much) and close to MOA. A fine place to stay in Manila for a day or two but not sure if I'd spend my... More

Convenient hotel with friendly staff at an excellent price close to the airport. The hotel is not a shiny five star - and not priced like it. The staff is five star while rooms are big but still three star due to general wear and noise level. Very good shuttle to the airport thou not free at 4AM as promised... More

I booked the best room in the hotel: the Balikbayan Suite as a treat for my Mum's birthday. The photos looked amazing: well lit, clean, luxurious and boasted a spacious jacuzzi bathtub! We were shown to the room and the first thing we noticed was a terrible smell. The jacuzzi bathtub was dirty; the water was barely warm and the... More

Don't bother with this hotel. It was a total disappointment. We booked it for the jacuzzi in the room but were unable to use it. The water was very slow & only tepid so it was cold by the time only half full. The very friendly & helpful staff (only good thing about Mabuhay Manor) moved us to another room... More

Over the past 7 years the price has gone up and the quality has gone down. Noisy window type air conditioners and bathroom has patchy screen window that allows in mosquitos and bad air. Rooms have poor lighting, uncomfortable sparse furniture, and are just plain dingy with bad smell. Pool was closed in the evening this visit. Food is very... More

Stayed at the Mabuhay Manor for one night. The rooms are spacious, but a bit outdated. The bed was good enough. Bathroom and shower was okay, but there was no hot water in the shower. The breakfast area was nice and they had a few different hot dishes, fruit, bread and fresh omelette. Nice staff and good service in the... More

always a good stay in this hotel. I'd been doing this for the last 6 years. i go to the Philippines every year and I make it a habit to stay a couple of days before and after going to the province. Breakfast is always the big sell for this hotel. other factors are proximity to Baclaran's church, (INC and... More

As what their logo is, the 1st Balikbayan Hotel. It maybe was - needs a complete refurbishment though the rooms are really BIG (which I enjoyed so much since we are a family of 4). I like the big space for the wardrobe area which is also located seperately. Toilets needs to be refurbish. Needs to add more dishes for... More
