We stayed in Traders Hotel once, last March 2014. Traders Hotel is one of the relatively older hotels in Manila. It is a hotel managed by the Shangri-La Hotel chain. Although it is managed by Shangri-La, it's not in the same league as Makati Shangri-La and EDSA Shangri-La. The hotel fixtures were quite "vintage", and in need of renovation. Even... More

Beautiful hotel with the friendliest, kindest staff we have ever encountered. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and the menu included a wide variety of choices. The view from the T Lounge is beautiful.

United Airlines had us stay at this hotel after our flight was canceled. It is located close to the airport & Mall of Asia. The hotel is in an area surrounded by strip clubs & businesses catering to men. Unsavory characters can be found walking near the hotel at night. The room is small & plain. Bathroom rather small &... Great hotel, hot shower and comfy beds. Just know that a double room has two beds which are slightly larger than a twin and not big enough for two people to share. Awesome breakfast buffet with a huge selection for all tastes. I would say by western standards it's a 4.5 star hotel in terms of luxury. Very competent staff,... More

I am a bigger fan of Traders Hotel than I am of its mother brand Shangri-La and Traders Hotel, Manila lives up to that. Yes, the hotel is dated but it does not have the old damp smell one would expect from buildings like these. Instead, everything smells clean, from the lobby to the rooms. The gym could need new... Before booking at this hotel, I had low expectation from it as it was rated as a 4-star hotel. However after my weekend stay with the family, I found that the room were at par with what I would usually find at 5 star hotels in the US. All hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is superb... More
